      Calven reached out for his mouth with his hands and wiped off his lips. How dare she try to kiss him? And why was he suddenly aroused by her kiss and touch? Something no woman was able to do, was done by her.

        His mind was left scattered while he watched the whole darkness with his soul roaring at him. For her to infuriate his wolf side meant he had to be careful around her, a thing he just couldn't explain. It is best he stayed far away from her!

“Boss? Don't you think I should handle this matter professionally? I mean you've got a reputation to protect and also the company too. It would be bad if the news gets out to the public and your father ” Hayden recalled the situation which had just occurred that left him in awe.

          The young Heiress had the guts to kiss the young lord without his permission, such actions were shameless and needed to be taken care of considering how famous she is known for her mischievous behaviors.

       Having the rumored kiss stay up for more than thirty minutes could ruin his reputation.

“Why take it down now? The fun hasn't yet started. Let us see how she is going to repay me back. ” His dark side chortled at Hayden as he stared at the deafening darkness.

          This girl did have some guts unless she wouldn't even dare to touch him, talk less of kissing. It was time he settled scored with the young heiress.

“Paige Adams! You've been a menace since I got to know you. Let us see how you cope now. ”

           

   Meanwhile, In Jennie's house.

        The young miss of the Allen's strolled back and front with her hands over her head. She was distressed after hearing from her best friend that she had lost her first kiss to a blind CEO. Meanwhile, Paige looked at herself in the mirror scarily, touched her lips and yelped in pain.

       Her lips were all bruised by his roaring teeth that looking at it now, frightens her and appeared hideous to her. She turned away from the mirror and sighed.

      She shouldn't have kissed him but why did he taste so much good? She humped from the chair to Jennie's huge bed and bounced on it.

“Why are you so calm after kissing the brutal CEO?” Jennie breathed out, ran to the bed and sat down. Her heart raced a million times thinking of how the ruthless CEO is going to deal with her friend.

       Who wouldn't know about the merciless, indifferent business lord, Calven Gray? Here she was worrying about the safety of her friend, while she just sat down and focused on her bruised lips.

“Jennie, my lips hurt so bad!”

           She whined to her friend like a spoiled brat, holding her lip wide enough for her to see the teeth lines on it. It did hurt because he used force in kissing her. What kind of amateur kisser kisses with force?

           Jennie slammed her palms to her face and frowned at Paige, she seemed not to be taking this issue that serious like her and joked about it.

“Do you know who you just kissed?”

“No? I couldn't see his face. He was wearing a black sunglasses on his face which covered his eyes. I am pretty sure he is a weirdo! Too bad I just gave away my first kiss to a pervert!” Paige squeezed her cheeks in a hopeless manner.

       Though, it wasn't her first kiss as she had kissed her fiancé lots of times before, but currently, she transmigrated into an entirely new life, he would be her first kisser.

“The man you just kissed is none other than the fearful young Lord of the Gray's, Calven Gray! ” Paige widened her mouth in disbelief, stood up and started her own moving back and front. Many questions stormed in her head immediately. No wonder the whole crowd gasped at the situation.

        She thought they were just surprised she had the audacity to do so, not knowing she had kissed the young prince of the Gray's.

      Presently, her safety was not guaranteed.

“What do I do? What?....... Tell me!” She yelled her hair out in frustration. Running away from her uncle's evil scheme landed her in big trouble. Would she be able to overcome such?

           She knew that her family's wealth was nothing compared to the Young master's wealth. At the age of eight, he was already facing military problems and at the age of seventeen, he brought up his own company from scratch and was later crowned the ruler of the underworld.

       Only his military force covered two third of New york's population, in fact, seventy five percent of the entire America's population. His face was scary and so unapproachable. Rumors had it known that he is gay.

“How am I supposed to know? Maybe I can beg my dad to let him forgive you since he and my father had worked together before. You are really done for!”

“Enough with all this worrying, Jennie! Who am I? Paige Adams! Nothing is that difficult for me. ” She held her hands in the air and beat her chest confidently, while in her head, she cried out for immediate solutions.

       Now wasn't the best time to rebel against the Gray's, especially the Young master Gray. Paige could not have them also as an enemy, if so, then her life would never remain the same.

            She was given a chance to rewrite her tragic story and save herself from being harmed by her sly family, and that she was going to make sure to do.

“What about your uncle? I am pretty sure he is fuming right now! I wish to see the look on his face. ” Jennie held herself from laughing while she shoved off the secondary problem from her head. She bounced on the bed happily, clapped her hands and hugged Paige.

        Her little Paige had truly suffered in the hands of the Adams'. How she wished that she could adopt her and then they'd be sisters forever.

“That reminds me, Do you still have your brother's contacts with you?”

“You mean George? Yes I have his number. He should be asleep. Why do you need it?”

“What else do I need it for? My fiancée in the next two days would run off to a hotel to have sex with my so called fake sister. I need evidence to make him leave me!”

            Jennie gasped with the new information her ears just heard. What was she talking about? Dylan Evans cheating on her? How is that even possible?

          No matter how much she adored her friend, she still felt she was crazy. Sometimes she'd make some prophecies which later would come true. Was her friend some kind of witch with magic powers? Definitely, she could not hold herself from asking.

“Paige Adams, did you have your head hit on a wall? What nonsense are you sprouting now?” Jennie questioned her with her brows furrowed together.

      She thought vividly that Paige was madly in love with Dylan, why was there now a sudden change and of all, there was going to be a cheating scene!

“How many times do I have to say this that I have relieved this life before? Look, I am Paige Adams from 2022 and not the one from 2016, somehow I appeared in this timeline. I know what is going to happen even before it does because I have relieved this life before!”

“So you are telling me that you've seen what would happen, if so, why weren't you able to predict that you'd kiss Calven in the café and end up in this kind of mess. ” Still unable to believe what Paige told her, She replied in disbelief.

          Her friend really is crazy! Went back in time? Reliving the past once more? Did she think this was some kind of transmigration romance story? This is reality and not some shitty dream! Obviously, she'd never accept such truth.

“That was a mistake. In my past life, I never had any encounter with him because I chose not to live an expensive life and also to be the silent and obedient child of the Adams'. ” She snorted while trying to explain her past life.

       Listening to her future story did make her ridicule in pain. She gave up her status, richness and fame just to spend time with a low rat who later used her to climb the ladder to success and in return, burnt her body in fire.

          This time around, she was going to take back everything that belonged to her including her wealth. Everything the Adams' enjoyed was because of her, now that she wasn't going to be a softie, let see how they'd be able to handle her now.

“Now, that I took an upvote to rewrite my past, it somehow changed. Anyways, the fat cow is yet to be eaten. I have to get lots of sleep for the drama ahead cause I am sure the Adams' won't let me go off so easily after what I did to them today ” Paige yawned tiredly, kicked out her lazy legs, squeezed herself into the blanket and slept off.

       Gone were the days where she had to be the little naive child, now, she was going to show them the able and capable Young Miss Of the Adams'. They are going to know why her name is Paige Adams!
