Chapter 5 Marriage

     In the morning Sujata was unable to face Raj she was feeling embarrassed and guilty about what has happened between them.

"Please don't feel embarrassed or ashamed you haven't committed any crime we are adults and are in love whatever had happened between us last night was with our consent so it is not bad it is our love for each other". I Raj calmly said

"But this society doesn't approve it before marriage one cannot be intimate even if you are in love, especially for females it is a crime" Sujata truthfully said.

"Ok don't worry I will talk to ma and convince her for our marriage as early as possible" Raj spoke.

Thereupon their brief conversation, they both got ready as Sujata didn't have anything appropriate to wear Raj dropped her to the quarter then went to his office.

     As soon as he enters he finds his staff waiting for his arrival surrounding a table

"good morning sir they all said in unison. Furthermore Ram uncle ( an elder staff working from my dad's time )

came to me and handed me a large bouquet, congratulations beta(son) god bless you both."

"thanks to everyone I think now we should get to work. "

After saying this I went towards my cabin I started calling ma to talk to her

"Regards, ma! how are you and Simmi "I asked

"We are fine now tell me did Sujata agree, "ma asked enthusiastically

" Ultimately she agreed I'm so happy I want to get married as soon as possible I can't wait I'm on cloud nine"I replied

"ok I will talk to Panditji (holy men) and ask a suitable date for marriage. Today I have received the pictures you had sent she is pretty now I will disconnect so that I can talk to pandit Ji bye "

      As soon as I hung up Sujata entered with another beautiful bouquet which was given to her by her colleagues

"Wow! you are on time I just talked to ma about our marriage she is very happy today she will talk to Pandit Ji about the suitable date, "I told Sujata, she was blushing profusely. Her face was glowing with happiness she was looking so cute I just wanted to look at her, my pretty woman.

     The final date was fixed just after fifteen days, so Rajini asked him to come to Darjeeling for preparation. He wanted to take Sujata with him but she didn't go as she had some work. although Raj was reluctant to leave her she forced him to go alone.

    After 5 days she joined Raj in all the preparations. Raj's mother and sister were quite happy to meet Sujata they were quite impressed by her

"Bhabhi you are a beauty with a brain "Simmi lovingly stated

"you are flattering me Simmi," Sujata said smiling

"I'm not flattering you it is the truth Simmi said hugging her bhabhi, you are the best gift bhai ever gave"

   Everyone got busy with the preparations. Time passed quickly and it was the day of the wedding. The mansion was beautifully decorated with lights and flowers

     Raj was sitting like a prince and was eagerly waiting for his bride. As Sujata was an orphan, Raj father's friend who was childless vouched for Sujata and was willing to perform all the rituals for the bride.

Suddenly the music changed announcing the arrival of the bride. She was looking pretty in her red  colour saree everyone was admiring her beauty

     Raj was flabbergasted on catching a glimpse of Sujata. As soon as she reached, Raj got up and came near her, took her hand and helped her to the stage.               Simmi handed them the rose garland, they exchanged their garlands after which the rituals started they took spheres and vows after which Raj applied sindoor in her hair parting and tied mangal sutra with which they became husband and wife.

," Now everything is over and both of you get up and take the blessings of the elder," said the panditji

     So they started taking blessings from everyone. thereupon they tried to enter the main gate, "stop there, Simmi bring everything ".

"What is this ma she was in this house before marriage then why all this?"I stated

" It is necessary beta because now she is entering as my daughter in law. Instantly apply this on your palm and put it on the wall after that put your feet on this bowl filled with coloured water and then, come in making your footprints on the floor."    

     After the rituals ma turned towards me "now take her to your room."

     As soon as we reach our room I see Simmi standing on the door frame, "if you want to go in then give me a gift." "what gift ." I won't give you any gift this is my room and I will get in " I said.           After arguing and irritating for some time I have her gift and she moved and let us in.

As soon as I entered I was shocked to see that room was beautifully decorated I was even shocked to see that Sujata was inside the room sitting on the bed. I reached near the bed and kept on looking at her, mesmerizing beauty in front of me. All of a sudden she comes near me,", hey can I go and change as I'm feeling quite uncomfortable in this dress"

Coming out of my trance I replied, "you may change. If you need any help I can help you." hearing this her face was redder than a tomato. With my help, she removed all her jewellery and we kept it properly. After taking her nightdress she went inside the washroom.

       After a while, she came out and was looking so pretty and sexy in her nightdress. Meanwhile, I had also changed. I gave her a beautiful ring as her wedding gift, "wow Raj this is so beautiful but sorry I haven't got any gift for you".

"sweetheart you are my gift which I will open slowly and carefully".saying this Raj started showering kisses on her and slowly he opened his gift with love, passion flowed throughout the room, two souls who loved each other became one
