CHAPTER 38

"Mom! Mom!"

My mom rushed out to know why I was calling her and saw my dad lying helpless. She collected the water from me and started pouring it on him.

I was shaking him and begging him to stand up. We called the doctor on the phone and in less than twenty minutes, he arrived.

"What exactly happened to him?"

"He just came from the pack meeting, he was looking tired. I went into the kitchen to get water for him, when I came out I saw him like this" I said with tears filling my eyes.

"OK, why is his clothes wet?"

"Doctor, we poured the water to revive him," my mom replied.

The doctor had to check him, removed his shirt and placed him on the sofa. The doctor checked his breathing. "He is breathing well. I think he was overstressed. His blood pressure is high"

The doctor gave him some treatment and told us to allow him to rest so that he would recover.

"Are you going?"

"Yes, I have done what is needed. If there is any other thing, don't fail to call me"
