VALERIE'S POV

"Why are you looking at me that way? Why the surprise? You are surprised that I heard it right? Chelsea, why would you hide such a thing from me? You know how much I love your friend, why can't you tell me that I am good for marriage"

Chelsea and Beta looked at each other and bursted out in laughter. "What's funny?" I asked them

"Valerie, are you the one saying this? You don't need to worry my dear. The discussion is left for you two" Chelsea said

"Then, what about the test? Explain further"

"Valerie, let's finish our meal before talking about that"

I allowed them to eat their food, and as for me my appetite has gone down. I was just picking on the food.

I just wanted to be alone in my room, so I locked the door and prevented anyone from coming in. Hope I was not making any mistake? Why did I tell them that I overheard their discussion?
