Looking for a way out

After leaving the laboratory, Jonathan finally left Eleanor on her own. Unlike before, she did not have any guards trailing her. But she knew if she so much as tried to take a step outside the packhouse, there would be a pack of them watching her every move.

She knew this was her chance to make her move. He had given her three days, but she had no idea how long it would take to get all the information she needed.

She also had to find a way to either communicate to the others or a way to escape if she could not ask for backup.

For now, her best hope was that one of the girls Jonathan kept here could somehow help her get what she needed. She had no idea how to help them break the control Jonathan had over them, but if she could find a way, maybe some of them would be willing to work with her.

She wandered into the west wing of the house, where all the girls had disappeared earlier. Before she could get to the rooms, she came across a living area and spied the young blonde girl she had w
