That late noon after she completely forgot about Qin Bai, she calls Jun Li while lazily watching dramas on her laptops. She currently in her family mansions, but no one seems to be here. Everybody is busy on their own.

"Jun Li sees the biggest project that Meng Xi Luo had. Whatever it is, snatch it and give it to me," She cracks an almond and eats it leisurely.

"Are you crazy? I'm not as powerful as your brother, okay? I can't do it. Moreover, she is an actress, not a singer. How could you snatch her job?"

"How? It's easy. Snatch her job," Xiao Ni answered casually with an 'It's a problem at all' tone.

Jun Li got dumbfounded for a second before he continued.

"Her biggest project is a movie. She will play as a female lead. It's a high school romance drama called waiting for you after school."

NiNi hears Jun Li's explanation. Acting? It seems interesting as she stared at her drama. She was watching the scene where the empress is slapping a pretty concubine. The empress red and golden nail were especially drawing attention.

Interesting. It's been a long time since Xiao Ni acts.

Ever since she becomes a rock singer, she slowly becomes a laughing stock. This time she did not have any more reason to humiliate herself.

Forget the rock star. She will become an actress.

"It's okay. I can act. Prepared yourself. I will ask my brother immediately." Then she cut the phone line leaving Jun Li dumbfounded.

Jun Li ponders for a moment. He then opens his laptop to do some research.

At seven o'clock, Xiao Ni goes to the dining room.

As Xiao Ni had predicted, everyone is here except for her lovely brother Guan Xian. Guan Xian is probably late because he was busy at the company. NiNi cheerily sits on the chair and grin at her parent.

"Mom, Dad, I miss you!" She hugs her daddy from behind and kisses his cheek. Mother Guan smiles as she watches her husband trying so hard to keep his calm composure.

"Hmph, you still dare to come back. Look at what trouble you've done. I told you not to join the entertainment world. Where should I put my face next time?" Father Guan said sarcastically.

No father will be happy watching his dear daughter got bullied by the entire country. Moreover, it's his precious Guan Xiao Ni. The baby he carries around, someone he always pampered. And people dare to say she got dumped by a good-for-nothing from the Chen family.

How angry he was when he read the news. He almost went to see Mr.Chen if her wife did not stop him.

"Aiya, young people make mistakes. It's normal," Xiao Ni answers like an old aunty.

"Xiao Ni-" Her father called her name in a low tone as a warning.

"Dad, don't worry. I won't let your precious daughter down. I am Guan Xiao Ni, Guan Lin Yi's only daughter, who dares to look down on me," She answers with an exaggerated smug voice, raising her chin as she touches her nose.

Her father lost his cool when she confidently answers. He ends up laughing frantically with her.

"That's is right, you are my daughter. How dare they talk bad about you. That second young master of the Chen family is also useless. He did not even clarify things."

Father Guan is very dissatisfied with Chen Luo. Xiao Ni nods her head agrees with her father.

"Father has eyesight! Indeed he is useless. He makes everyone think we are dating and make trouble for me. Hmph, tell me trouble he will bring to our Guan family if he becomes our son-in-law."

Xiao Ni adds oils to the fire. She had to make sure there is no way for Chen Luo to be with her.

Father Guan frown, decided that he will never accept Chen Luo as his son-in-law. Ever.

Guan's mother looks at them weirdly, shaking her head. Her husband, the director of Guan Corporation, is known as a strict man. However, he merely a paper tiger in his daughter's eyes.

"Wife, you are at wrong this time. Chen Luo is someone you choose. You have to compensate me well for this loss," Father Guan said shamelessly with a wide grin. Mother Guan widens her eyes and slaps her husband's arm.

Xiao Ni could not believe her eyes and ears. Why does she need to be in the middle of an awkward conversation again?

"Hmph, Guan Lin Yi, how is that your loss? Even Xiao Ni is not blaming me. Moreover, if you want to blame someone, blame that Mrs.Chen. She is the one who keeps pushing her son for Xiao Ni."

Xiao Ni rolls her eyes at her parents, which makes mother Guan scolded her.

"You still dare to roll your eyes? If you not stupid enough to fall for that swimming boy, would you become like this today?"

Mother Guan did not leave a chance for Xiao Ni to refutes. She hung her head low while acting busy. Father Guan clicked his tongue to both women in his house. A few arguments happened afterward and ended when three of them agree that it's Chen Luo's fault.

As the pair of father and daughter laugh after badmouthing Chen Luo, Guan Xian finally arrived.

"Ey! My little sister goes home today after making another headline," He said sarcastically. Xiao Ni looked up at him when Guan Xian is approaching her. He patted NiNi's head and kissed the top of her head.

"Please, it's not me who makes the headlines. People these days were way too shameless. They keep leeching my popularity," She sigh.

"I can't help it. Your sister is too famous," Xiao Ni adds with a helpless tone.

Guan Xian rolled his eye and sat beside Xiao Ni.

"Famous? Apart from making lousy gossip, what did you do?" Guan Xian questioned Xiao Ni.

Xiao Ni grins. Her brother's sarcasm did not make her offended at all. For Xiao Ni, she wouldn't be ashamed of the truth! She does get famous for making lousy gossip. Her brother did not say the wrong thing.

A minute later, the maid has served the luxurious dinner. The family began to eat and chat happily. After dinner, Xiao Ni decided to take a bath in her room.

Although she had her apartment, she sometimes goes back to the mansion when she doesn't have anything to do. Her mother often complains about if she becomes too busy in her job.

After applying her night care skincare, she goes across her room to her brother's bedroom. She knocks on the door before entering. A crack sound appears when her brother opens the door.

Guan Xian looks at his sister suspiciously as he raises one of his eyebrows.

"What do you want this time?" he asked straightforwardly. He knows this spoiled sister only comes to her when she encounters a problem she can't solve herself.

"You are indeed the best brother," Xiao Ni grinned shamelessly.

"Brother, I want the female lead role in waiting for you after class." She said as she purposely uses her puppy eyes to make her brother agree.

"What! Did I hear wrong? You? Want to act? Do you even know how to act?" Guan Xian looks at her in disbelief. He walked to his working chair, still giving NiNi his disbelief face.

"Of course I know. It's not that hard to act. I always act cute in front of you," NiNi answers playfully, winking to tease Guan Xian.

Guan Xian: "…"

So it's an act all this time. How long had Xiao Ni fooled him with her act?

"I can try to talk to my friend who invests in the movie. Why you suddenly got an interest in acting? Did someone bully you?"

Guan Xian's face grew colder when he thinks about someone who dares to bully her little sister. Xiao Ni rolls her eyes as she saw her protective brother, but deep down, she felt thankful for her brother.

"No, I want to crush that Meng Li Xue! How dare she act arrogantly, comparing me to her? I am so annoyed!" She whines as her face shows some annoying line on her forehead.

Guan Xian thought for a second. Right, he hasn't deal with Chen Luo yet.

"Oh... she is the female lead of this movie, so you want to snatch it from her, right?" Guan Xian quickly guesses as she connects the lines. Xiao Ni looks at his brother in amusement before she nods frantically.

"Why go through so much trouble? You can snatch it and give it to another actress. You don't have to act yourself."

Guan Xian was always this effective. Xiao Ni shooks her head disapprovingly at her brother's plan.

"No, I want to crush her myself," She said as her eyes somewhat become colder. Guan Xian laughs when he saw her adorable face. He began to contact his friend to grant his sister her wish.

"Xiao Ni, Wang entertainment is the one who invests in it. That Meng Li Xue somehow can get the CEO to invest for her. But it's okay. We can ask Wang Kai to handle it."

Guan Xian knocks on her working desk as he called another person.

Guan Xian was secretly relieved. He has thought her sister wants to do something to Qin Bai and his bride's wedding.

When Xiao Ni heard that Wang Kai was involved, fear began to creeps into her heart. She stares blankly at his brother, who had a phone in his ears already.

Wang Kai is a professional businessman. He always makes a decision that will only bring benefit. Now that she wants to ask favor from Wang Kai, things are not as simple as snatching the role from the backdoor.

Xiao Ni wonders, how much demand Wang Kai will ask?

Xiao Ni lost in her mind until she heard her brother laugh.

"Okay, it settled then. Thank you for helping the spoiled brat Brother," Guan Xian's face was lifted and bright as he talks to the man on the phone.

Xiao Ni pouts her mouth automatically when she heard Guan Xian called her spoiled brat. But from the sentence, she hears she could conclude that Wang Kai agreed to help her.

Deep down, her heart was relieved. She has some unsolved issues with Wang Kai. So when she knew that Wang Kai is the biggest investor, she was pessimistic. Wang Kai probably still holds grudges and won't help her. He was always that petty.

Especially, after she spread the rumor about him being gay, oops.

How can she leave the fact that her brother is that robotic man's best friend? They always make fun of her back of the day.

"Xiao Ni, you must thank Wang Kai for helping you even he knew that this project would be doomed because of you," Guan Xian said while he read some documents on his desk. Xiao Ni threw a glare at her brother.

"No way! It will be the best movie of the year." She storms out of Guan Xian's room with a happy grin.

She is not a beginner in acting. She takes some classes in the past. She also joined the school theater club for five years.

Never mind, she never scared that people underestimate her even though it hurts her a little. She is more afraid that people overestimate her, and then she let them down.

After one trouble settled, Xiao Ni deicide to get her beauty sleep. Lay on her soft bed. She finds the most comfortable spot. Just when she closes her eyes to sleep, her phone ring once. Xiao Ni reaches for her phone and sees a message from her phone.

"I can always step out to clear everything you if you are willing. Chen Luo."

She looks at her phone in disbelief. How more pathetic could this man get?

She chooses to ignore his text and back to her sleep when another message comes. Who needs his help? She could settle everything herself.

And even if she wants him to go out and clarified things, she could ask his brother to pressure him. Forcefully make him admit.

She lay on the bed once again. Her eyelids slowly became heavy. She was almost asleep when her phone ring once again. Xiao Ni's beautiful eyes open up forcefully. Groaning, she reaches for her phone.

"Little brat, you should thank me."

Xiao Ni saw the anonymous text, stunned. The only one who called her a spoiled princess is that Wang Kai.

They haven't texted each other forever. Xiao Ni will be lying if the text did not surprise her. Moreover, using her past nickname, does it mean he finally declares peace sign?

She decided to play along. She replies to the text with three words.

"Who are you?"

In another place, a man chuckles when he receives her text. Did she forget him already? Only he calls her little brat in the past. Over the years, when he went, how many other people call her spoiled brat too?

He felt a little heartache from those thoughts.

"I'm a king," He replies as he takes a sip of coffee. She should know the person who calls her little brat with the surname Wang, right?

Xiao Ni sneer when she read his reply. King, what kind? The overbearing but hide it in ambiguity kind of king?

"Sure, an asexual king." She replies casually and goes to sleep.

Certain someone's faces drew darker ten shades when he read her text.

He closes his phone and continues his work. No one has the guts to insult him directly except this pampered princess. It's been so long since the last time he heard her mocking him.

He decides to let it go since she was his best friend's little sister and someone he grew up with.

He could never get angry with her anyway.
