Rebecca's POV
I went home happy. I can't help myself smiling a lot because of what happened today. Also, I noticed that there was no stalker following me ever since I went with miss AC.
“You heard me, you’re not deaf.” She said while grinning. Rebecca couldn’t help but swallow. What is the meaning of this? Her heart started to race very fast.
Did Sheira see that kissing scene that they shared a while ago?
“C’mon! Look at you! You seemed guilty about my joke! Duh! You’re too much!” She said while laughing at her. She poked Sheira’s arm out of frustration. That
“Girl, what is the meaning of that? A rekindled passion? Rebecca, you shocked me!” Sheira can’t help but to almost overreact to what she noticed. When she turned her back as she walked forward, she could see Rebecca following her with a sullen look.“Look at you! The party is not even starting but you look drunk and you badly wanted to go home by that expression.” Sheira stopped blabbering when Rebecca looked at her straight in the eyes. She looked annoyed as she took a deep breath.“Look, it’s not the way you think it is, okay? He approached me all of a sudden. What shall I do?”
“Miss, there were three pending orders waiting for you to serve tables 10, 11 and 12.”“Yes, of course. I will. Thank you!” I heard my fellow co-worker as she passed beside me. She is also serving all the other tables.I tried to smile as I carefully placed the coffee and pastas on the table of the people who ordered them.I really want to enjoy my work without thinking of the rest of what happened last night. It was crazy. I guess I will lose my mind if I continue doing it for always. It was his question that I never saw coming. I was too shocked to even respond. Although I am imagining this situation to happen, it’s a different feeling once you were able to experience it first hand. It’s a totally different feeling of both being anxious, excited and terrified in one.
“It was a mistake. I admit it.”“What?!”“Goodnight, Gavin.” I ended the call right away before he could put me in his own trap. This is what I hated the most. Being put on the spot that I couldn’t react anymore. I hate this part of me. Trembling, I got the glass of water again and gulped all of its contents in the quickest way possible. A while ago, I was still sleepy but hearing his voice woke up my entire senses. Now, I really hate his effect on me. He’s like a drug I’m slowly getting addicted to. I can’t stop myself from thinking about him. No matter how I tried avoiding him, it’s the thought of him that’s insisting on me.----
She was the one who insisted on placing Gavin in the picture. My goodness! Even if she's far from me, she never failed to disappoint me sometimes."I guess we'll be having a lot of leftovers." I said and he nodded right away."Yup. We can eat them later, right?""We?" I asked him back."I will still go with you until dinner time. Remember that I am your guardian angel now.""No you're not. You're more than my ultimate stalker." He laughed as a response. For him, th
“What’s wrong? Is everything alright?” Gavin suddenly asked when her facial reaction changed a bit. She smiled again to hide what she recalled.“Yeah. Of course, everything is okay.” She said as she nodded.“Alright, then.” As Gavin put her backpack on his shoulders,he held her hand that didn't carry anything. It made Rebecca’s heart beat fast once more. It is only Gavin that could make her feel like this. They went inside the car and Gavin could really feel Rebecca being overjoyed with the whole idea. He was driving his car while she’s enjoying the random music he’s playing.
Rebecca's POV"Rebecca..."Her voice can be heard from the other room. That sweet, reassuring voice I'd love waking up to. That was exactly seven in the morning. I slowly opened my eyes, blink it slowly as I looked around. The sun's rays are already reflecting through my window. It's a perfect, sunny day to start with."What do we have for breakfast?" I yawned and smiled. As soon as I smelled a familiar scent, I excitedly went to the dining table just near my room. "Good morning, honey." My mom said as I met his gaze. Her smile is as sweet as the aroma of cinnamon rolls and some brewed coffee made by my mom."Whoah, is that cinnamon?""Of course. Just the way you want it, honey." On a separate plate, I had a piece of cinnamon rolls and a glass of milk for me, she loved coffee on the other hand.
Rebecca's POVI am driving along the coastal road ten meters away from our house. I always miss home after my mother's loss. I don't know how to start all over again. I can describe myself as a total mess without any direction to go.It's been months since I last visited this lonely road. I thought I'll never pass this way again but today, I found myself going back. Weird though, I don't even understand the reason why.A lot of things are messing in my mind right now, including the thoughts pursuing my dreams of becoming a successful lawyer in the future. I want to fight for her...protect her from someone who wanted to harm or even hurt her someday. I can't believe that my goals will only be a dream and will stay as it is, now that she's gone. The road seemed to be an endless way whenever I look forward. I glanced at the rear mirror of my car and I could see the scenery of the ocean. It was already
Gavin's POV"Looking for these?" I grinned, trying to tease her. I want to see her reaction after I saw that she's looking for her car keys like crazy. I can see that she's restless inside the car. I smiled and observed what she'll gonna do next. When she glanced beside her from where I am standing, she was shocked. I held out a chuckle. Man, I can't help it. Her reaction is priceless."Yes, can I have my keys please..." She looked at me as if she was never impressed with a guy before. She even folded her arms. Now, she's giving me a blank look that I find really weird. It's like a punch on my ego. When was the last time I was treated like this? This is not the usual treatment I get from girls. From what I used to know, they easily get so attracted to me with just a glimpse of an eye. I can see that she's simply different from them. Her reaction from the way she stared an
