Rebecca's POV
He drove me silently after getting all the things that I will possibly need for my daily life in the new house.
"It is for your own good. I hope you understand." He said while being focused on the road. I sighed and looked the other direction.
I never saw what their house looked like. I don't know if I could become comfortable on this kind of set up.
"Please don't worry. There were few people living in this house as of the moment. My mom is also abroad and my sister is staying at her condo unit not far from here, too." He assured me.
We went outside the car and his maids approached me right away to carry my things. I was amazed about their hou
Rebecca’s POVI glanced at the wall clock and it was already past nine in the evening. I haven’t seen Gavin’s car driving inside their garage yet. I already finished my dinner at eight in the evening. I also took a quick glance at my phone but I also didn’t receive any message coming from him yet. Everything got boring when I finally decided to just stay in the guest room that is now my temporary room.I looked through the window and I can see the wide lawn from the ground floor. Still no sign of him that’s arriving anytime. I can’t help but to assume things again. I really hate it when it will strike me. I can’t help but to overthink things that are not even necessary at this point of time. I am starting to hate myself.A ring on my
Rebecca’s POVWhat is she doing here?“Oh,there you are…” Gavin noticed me standing beside him. He still looks worried because he’s also giving his attention to Francine as well."What happened?" I simply asked him out of being curious.""She called me and she was so drunk and wasted. I can never drop her between the road so I brought her here for the meantime.""Wow, I never thought this would be a reunion?" I told him with sarcasm. He looked confused as she shifted his gaze to me and Francine. What he said really heightened what I feel right now. A little bit of irritation and a whole lot of frustration in one."It is not what you think it is, okay? This is an emergency situation."I sighed and slowly went back to the guest room and I started to pack my bags again. I guess it is not better for me to stay here anymore since the house is too crowded for me. With Francine and me here in one roof, I
Rebecca's POVI honestly couldn't sleep. Being in a new place is driving me insane again. I turned sidewards but it's as if sleep doesn't allow me to do it right away.My phone rang again and when I discovered that it was from Sheira, I am thinking of answering it or not because I am pretty sure she will tell me about what just happened. The allies strike again. I'm sure Gavin already forwarded to her what I have decided to do."What are you trying to do?" From the onset of the call, her voice was raised high and she's really mad."I am doing a great decision
Rebecca's POVI went home happy. I can't help myself smiling a lot because of what happened today. Also, I noticed that there was no stalker following me ever since I went with miss AC.“You heard me, you’re not deaf.” She said while grinning. Rebecca couldn’t help but swallow. What is the meaning of this? Her heart started to race very fast.Did Sheira see that kissing scene that they shared a while ago?“C’mon! Look at you! You seemed guilty about my joke! Duh! You’re too much!” She said while laughing at her. She poked Sheira’s arm out of frustration. That
“Girl, what is the meaning of that? A rekindled passion? Rebecca, you shocked me!” Sheira can’t help but to almost overreact to what she noticed. When she turned her back as she walked forward, she could see Rebecca following her with a sullen look.“Look at you! The party is not even starting but you look drunk and you badly wanted to go home by that expression.” Sheira stopped blabbering when Rebecca looked at her straight in the eyes. She looked annoyed as she took a deep breath.“Look, it’s not the way you think it is, okay? He approached me all of a sudden. What shall I do?”
“Miss, there were three pending orders waiting for you to serve tables 10, 11 and 12.”“Yes, of course. I will. Thank you!” I heard my fellow co-worker as she passed beside me. She is also serving all the other tables.I tried to smile as I carefully placed the coffee and pastas on the table of the people who ordered them.I really want to enjoy my work without thinking of the rest of what happened last night. It was crazy. I guess I will lose my mind if I continue doing it for always. It was his question that I never saw coming. I was too shocked to even respond. Although I am imagining this situation to happen, it’s a different feeling once you were able to experience it first hand. It’s a totally different feeling of both being anxious, excited and terrified in one.
“It was a mistake. I admit it.”“What?!”“Goodnight, Gavin.” I ended the call right away before he could put me in his own trap. This is what I hated the most. Being put on the spot that I couldn’t react anymore. I hate this part of me. Trembling, I got the glass of water again and gulped all of its contents in the quickest way possible. A while ago, I was still sleepy but hearing his voice woke up my entire senses. Now, I really hate his effect on me. He’s like a drug I’m slowly getting addicted to. I can’t stop myself from thinking about him. No matter how I tried avoiding him, it’s the thought of him that’s insisting on me.----
She was the one who insisted on placing Gavin in the picture. My goodness! Even if she's far from me, she never failed to disappoint me sometimes."I guess we'll be having a lot of leftovers." I said and he nodded right away."Yup. We can eat them later, right?""We?" I asked him back."I will still go with you until dinner time. Remember that I am your guardian angel now.""No you're not. You're more than my ultimate stalker." He laughed as a response. For him, th
