I glanced around not knowing what to say.

"What happened to your cheek, huh?" He questioned again and I decided to feign ignorance.

"My cheek? What…what…happened to it?" I asked again and he exhaled. He grabbed my face to inspect my cheeks and I let him.

"Don't lie to me Camila" he whispered, his breath making my toes curl up.

"I'm…I'm not, I don't know what…what you're saying" I stuttered, my gaze fixed on the floor.

"Did I really win the contest?" I needed to change the topic.

"Camila" He grabbed my waist closer to himself, very tight that I thought he was angry, but when I looked up, the affection was in his eyes.

"Tell me what happened to your cheek" he whispered but I was determined not to tell him.

"I don't know" I looked away and he let go of me.
