Chapter 28 : Back home

Fiona entered the passcode of her house and stepped in to see her parents in the living room, caressing her photo frame. They lost their smiles and looked lifeless. Her heart throbbed looking at the devastated couple. They must be feeling terrible because of her absence.

They didn’t have kids because of Victoria’s infertility. They adopted her after six years of their marriage. Since then she’s their world. It’s her fault for not thinking about them. She closed the door slowly but still they heard the sound and raised their heads towards her.

Wilson’s were paralyzed seeing their daughter who they thought would never return. For a second they thought they were seeing things because they’ve been seeing Fiona in every corner of their house for the past two days. That’s how much her absence effected them.
