"Ulysses, though?" He shakes his head and pushes me through the same door.

Ulysses pulled me in and said, "Run, he'll be fine, these people have been looking for you for hours, now go run and don't look back, kid." He closes the door, and I leave. If he says that Ulysses will be okay, that's fine.

Just a few houses and I'll be there. There's a small path that leads to the entrance of these woods, where a few houses are. Juana and Jose aren't as wealthy as I am, but they take classes with me because their parents work in the reserve of the woods. The governor lets them do this because this is our greatest pride, even though it's just the woods. When I get to their house, I stop in front of a truck, and when I see the door to their house open, I again duck down. I looked at my watch and saw that it was just after 2 p.m. Nobody was supposed to be home, so I crouched down to the side of the house where this truck belonged. That's when I heard a dog growl.

Why do I turn my head to see a sad Chihuahua? This breed of dog is the most annoying of all time. I try to quiet it down, but it starts barking again. "No, no, no, hush, quiet down" I was looking for a place to hide when I heard a small growl come from my backpack.

The chihuahua ran back into its house, which was strange. I run and hide in a small storage unit for garden tools. I can see them moving around through a small hole. I silently hope they leave, but I'm so close yet so far away. Just as I think they're about to leave, one of them starts to open the storage, no-no-no. The sound of a rifle being loaded can be heard before he can open the door.

"What the hell do you think you are doing on my land?!" When an older woman yells, "Have you seen this girl?" they step back and ask the same thing they did in the kitchen. I don't see what she does, but I hear them walk away, and then I hear her speak again.

"I'll give you one last chance to leave on your own. After that, I won't ask you again." People in the group start to go back.

"We don't mean any harm, madam. the guy stops talking when he hears a gunshot, "Start! Get off my land!" Another shot is heard, and it sounds like someone is running, but I can't tell for sure because I can't see anything.

When I think everything is fine, a woman walks up to the storage room and opens the door. She points the gun at me and raises her other hand to tell me to stand up. I stand up and put my hands up to show that I'm giving up.

"I'm not trying to hurt you, I'm just running away, and the dog almost gave me away." She nods and tells me to walk to the back of her house, where there is a small hole. She points to it and tells me to get on my bottoms. I'm a little confused because I've never seen this side of my best friend before.

"Follow it until you see a small opening. That will be your friend's house. This small hole is to help those in need escape. Don't ask me, ask them when you see them." I nodded and squatted down to drop into the hole.

"Ouch!" I take my bag off and open it. The puppies get out, and I put my bag back on my back. "Go straight, guys!" I tell them, and they walk with me as I crawl to the end.

Smart dogs, seem to understand everything I say. We get to a small hole that is covered by a ball. I push it with my hands and it pops, but I can't get in with my bag. I look at the black-haired puppies, and their eyes are red and wired, which scared me for a second, but I need to get in through that hole right now.

As I talk to the dogs, I sigh. "Can you go in and figure out a way for me to get help?"

They go in and dig the hole bigger so that I can fit. I squeeze into Juana and Jose's basement, walk over to the door and put the metal lock on from my side. I walk back to the broken sofa they have down here and fall asleep face-first on it. I am so tired that when I close my eyes, I fall asleep right away.

Harper's POV

We were finally out of that box, but we shouldn't have run so far from... Where had we been? I can't think of it. I hear my twin brother talk through the mind link as I think about where we were.

"Should we let her go? She is sleeping, so no one will come here to look for her.' I roll my eyes when he asks.

"No, and don't you feel attracted to her? I ask him, and when he looks back at her sleeping body on the couch, his ears go down and he gives me an annoyed look.

"Then you felt the same way?" Grate, I guess we're stuck here, what a mess we've made of things this time.' He replies, "Trust my twin brother to be down for the most stupid reasons."

"You don't want to leave while these poachers are looking for her, and from what we've seen, you're not up in the North.' When I answer him, I hear him grunt, and he shows me his teeth to show how angry he is.

"Calm down, I know you want to get out of here, but we need to think and then act, or think while we act would be best for our survival." He sniffs the air with his snout, which is cute.

I walk up to this girl and smell her hair. It smells like vanilla and salt caramel, and she smells really good. I wonder who she is, how old she is, and if we've met before since I've never seen her before. Cooper jumps on her back and starts to sniff her like a wolf as I try to look at her. One of my ears goes down and I tilt my head at his tracking.

"Do you know where she is or can you smell her?' When I ask him, he gives me that annoyed look again.

Cooper walks down and changes into his human form. I do the same thing. I'm glad she's asleep because if she woke up and saw two teenage boys in the room with her, we would have scarred her for life. When we look around, we find two basketball shorts. They are tight, but they are alright. As we look around, we see that this is definitely a basement full of teenagers, but why are we so hidden?

"Do you know? I think we were drugged and then put in that box. I can't remember who we are or where we're from, but I do remember that you are my brother." When he smiles, I want to hit him right in the mouth.

"That makes two of us. I tried to think but couldn't, it's like a wall. All I know is that I can't leave this girl. She smells like sweet vanilla and salty caramel. Don't you find her irresistible?" I ask my identical twin, who is now starting to smell again. I can't believe I'm related to the same guy who has the same good looks like me.

"I don't smell that. I smell dark chocolate with a hint of cotton candy, and it's making my mouth water. Where is it coming from?" he asks, looking around. "I don't smell that. I smell dark chocolate with a hint of cotton candy. Why me?" I rub my temples with one hand while the other is on my hip.

"Cooper, the girl is making you smell, bro. I don't know why, but we can't just leave her there, because she needs us as much as we need her. If she smells like that, she must be important, and we need to keep her close. It's clear that she doesn't know who we are, but at least we know who we are. We just need to try to remember where our pack is." He gives a nod and rubs his chin.

"Could she be one of us?" I think about it when I look at the girl, but we don't know for sure yet.

"I don't think it's possible, because only our kind smells good, and that includes our mate, but we'll never know until we're old enough. For all we know, she could just be a member of our pack and nothing more. Let's take it one step at a time. Do you agree?" He gives a reluctant nod.

"Sure, if you're willing to wait six years to find out. As of today, we are only twelve. Who knows what will happen, but you are right that this sentence is not very common. Do you think she will freak out when she sees us?" When he asks me a question, I nod. Then we hear footsteps coming down the hill, and we both change back to our wolves.

As I change into Conner, I see Harvey, my brother's wolf, go up to the girl and lay down next to her as if he were sleeping. I go to wake her up because I can hear noises getting closer.

Cooper POV I'm going to go crazy if I have to stay in this space. Looking at how there's a small light, at least I can see what's going on, but being in one box and Harper being in another is just great, I roll my eyes at this. At least on the other box, we were together, but this is ridiculous until I feel the car stop and hear something small being thrown, I thought a bullet was shot, but I didn't hear anything that could have meant a gun was fired."What did you hear?’ The more I hear about Harper, the more nervous I get."Yes, was it a quiet gun or a simple shot from a sniper? Could it have come from far away? He starts asking a million questions, and I'm already getting bored until we both hear a howl.Close to us, it sounded more like an announcement or a warning. Till I smell other wolves, my ears perk up from this. Is it possible that our pack is looking for us? I ask my twin right away."I think we're being chased twice,’ he said. ‘If I heard right, the sound came from the d

Harper's POV Prophecy? Isn't that what they're seeking in these times? Us? I'm having trouble recalling how we wound up in that box, and I'm fairly positive it was Cooper's fault; if his head was in the proper location with his head that's glued to it, none of this nonsense would have occurred. 'Cooper, what did you do, I vow to the heavens above?' I mentally connect with my twin, who is visibly surprised. 'I swear on my black hairy ass that I have no clue, but I am certain that I did not do anything to have that label placed on us. '" I rolled my eyes at his show of not taking this seriously as he reacted cockily with his pathetic joke. "What the heck are they talking about, those guys?" Whatever we need to get out of here, Jose says as he begins to crawl backward on his arms and knees. He glances behind him as we gaze ahead; they seem to have split up, one on my side following the road and the other on the other. I growl at Cooper and bite his ear as soon as I see them far enoug

"Wake up!" exclaims the narrator. I hear a lady screaming at me; is she the same person who just handed me the knife? The bus takes me to the last stop, where I know the beach is close by. A good walk here to make up for lost time would be perfect, but my work at the theater will take away everything from earlier. I know my uniform is stashed behind the small food counter. I am aware that I am not pregnant; if I were, I would have been bleeding from my private areas. I never really recovered from the abuse I received from those women; nobody believed me when I told them what happened, and I completely forgot about it. Standing up from the bed brought back memories. There are also no wolves, girls, or puppies. Instead, two powerful guys are spooning me as the other holds me by my chest. I continue to be immobile as a terrible recollection surfaces. I was dropped off to my dad's new penthouse at about that time by my mother. I knew he had friends visiting, but I didn't know his friends' spouses, children, and boyfriends would also be there. I never shared it with anybody, particularly when I was only nine years old. It was challenging to stay alive and fend off the prank assaults my parents put on me. When a doctor asked for my assistance, it was agony because as soon as he was through, he was shot in my face, purposefully reminding me that I was never supposed to think I was secure from them. I was reminded of what those ladies did to me when I saw these in my bed. As I sense the one behind me, I am reminded of the reversed harem they performed on me. I recall how they would be spanked, these guys

In the heart of this bustling Chilean metropolis, I made it to the door of my flat. We fled to this area far away since staying concealed here was simpler than at home. My crop top and fuzzy shorts cling to my now-developed physique since the mornings here are damp. It seems strange to consider that I now have a medium bubble rear end and a nice C cup, which makes the idea of fleeing more difficult. However, I must leave this place immediately. I take a step back when I hear a threatening growl behind me. When I turn around, all I can see are two huge wolves—or at least four-legged things that resemble wolves. I don't know how I ever believed they were just puppies. Was it foolish of me to refer to them as pups last night? I must have been quite exhausted since I totally missed this! These are no longer pups. They are two enormous, red-eyed, black wolves! They each stood by my side while I yelled; they weren't startled by my outburst, but I thought I saw one of them twitch in discom
