Elisa walked toward Janet’s room, opened the door, and noticed Janet was looking at the door like a scaredy cat. Maybe she was expecting Edwin would come to punish her for her audacious move.

Noticing it was Elisa, her face calmed down with relief.

“Don’t worry, Edwin don’t have all day to waste over you,” Elisa said mockingly and Janet frowned.

What did she mean by waste?

“Did I trouble your brother too much?” Janet asked offended.

“Didn’t you?” Elisa asked back, raising her brow and Janet exhaled.

“Why he is caging me then? I was leaving silently. If he would have let me go, he wouldn’t have to waste his time.” Janet argued and Elisa had no mood to argue with her. She was still so adamant about leaving Edwin after all he had done for her.

She was already angry with her because of her stunt, she would only spout venom if she opened her mouth. But she didn’t want to stay silent too.
