Edwin woke up and checked his emails. When he didn’t notice the email, he was expecting; he called the person.

“What about the clue you were talking about? Why there wasn’t any news yet?” Edwin asked the person when he received the call.

He was the detective Edwin had hired to find Janet.

“Boss, we checked, but it was another dead end. Why don’t you believe that lady? Maybe she was telling the truth.” The man said, which angered him.

“I am not paying you for telling me rubbish. If I hear this nonsense again, you will have the same fate as hers,” Edwin said, and the man gulped afraid.

“I will search again,” the man said hurriedly, and Edwin cut the call and threw the mobile away angrily.

It’s been five years and if anyone would be in his place, he would have lost hope.

But Edwin was still searching for Janet.

Even a single hope made him anxious, but his hope always died when they couldn’t find anything the next day.
