I didn’t even have a full two minutes to really absorb that I had an aunt before his irritating voice filled the room. I had only spoke to him once but I remember his voice perfectly. The first time I heard it my wolf was overjoyed. This time she wanted to rip his head off.

He pulled my hands and dragged me into his office, letting me slide in on his lap while he pulled out his laptop and went to work, explaining everything as he did it. He was sending his two best trackers to meet Schmidt’s best trackers. Schmidts were the best in the world but Alex’s were top notch as well as being better fighters if they found trouble. Together the four would be tasked with information and infiltration. Apparently they were experts and Alex had every confidence in them.“We have information about these rogues but what we really need is the hierarchy. Are they run by one? A few? A rogue alpha or king? Is there a few leaders to make it so there is one per area or just one single guy calling the shots? What are they really after, death or something specific? We had spent the entire morning on the phone, updating others with the information we knew and gaining more information from them as well. Once we were settled it was a long flight. We stopped in for gas on the East Coast of America briefly and I mindlinked Jason for an update. All our warriors ahead of us had now arrived and they were settled in. Jason was an impressive Alpha, and if pressed I would say that I would trust him to run all of America for me if needed.
