Plopping down on the couch, I let out a sigh. My dad tears his eyes away from the sports channel on TV and looks over at me. "How was dinner with the Fierdo's?"
My dad and Giovanni Fierdo have been best friends long before Marcus and I met. They practically grew up together, but unfortunately grew apart after high school. While my dad was attending college, Giovanni Fierdo was training to become the next Mafia leader.
Hanggang sa nagkita ulit sila three years ago. My father was the happiest I had ever seen him since my mother's passing. She had died of stage four Ovarian Cancer when I was seven years old. I don't talk about it much, because I only want to keep the good memories of her.
Which is why I spend so much time at the cafe. I don't want to go through the pain of losing anyone else. I don't know how my dad does it, especially having lost the love of his life and best friend before the age of sixty.
"Dinner was good...dumating si Niccolo." I decided to leave out the conversation I had with Marcus. I've never hinted to him that I was interested in a Fierdo, so I don't know how he'd react.
"Katulad na katulad ni Niccolo ang Papa niya," he says with a shake of his head. "They all are. I don't know how Alina does it." He brings the cold beer up to his lips, and takes a sip before placing it back in the cup holder of his recliner chair.
"Dad?" Pag-iiba ko ng usapan. "Paano mo nalaman na si Mama ang para sayo?"
They were friends long before they got together romantically. It wasn't until then that they began to fall for each other.
"We simply gave us a try." Hearing him say that truly confirmed what I had been thinking. "Hindi naging kami ng Mama mo. Matagal na kami magkakilala pero hindi ko siya niligawan, hindi ako nagtangka. Pero isang araw, habang nakatingin ako sa kanya, sabi ko, siya ang gusto ko pakasalan. I asked her to marry me, she agreed."
My mind fills with thoughts of Marcus. Could someone so dominant be able to settle down? Would I even be able to handle his lifestyle? I had so many questions. But these were questions that I knew would help me in the long run. And now that I know he too has feelings, maybe... just maybe we could give us a try?
I stand up and kiss my dad on his head. "Thanks dad. Goodnight."
He nods, turning his attention back to the game. I head up to my room and call it a night.
I didn't realize how exhausted I was until my head hit the pillow.
Yawning, I lazily remove my shirt and kick off my jeans. Climbing into the warmth of my bed sheets, I tuck myself in and close my eyes. It doesn't take long before I'm falling asleep and dreaming of him.
He's staring at me with such an intense gaze that it makes me squirm with discomfort. There was nobody else in the cafe except the two of us. I go to flip over the sign from open to close, and when I turn around Marcus is inches from my face. I can smell the coffee on his breath.
"M-Marcus... what are you doing?"
He doesn't respond.
He takes his thumb and gently traces it over my bottom lip. My heart starts to pound in my chest as I look into his eyes. Wrapping an arm around my waist, he pulls me in close. My eyes widen when I feel him untie my apron. He pulls it over my head and takes my hand in his. Next thing I know he's picking me up and putting me on the counter. His hand is on my inner thigh and he's standing between my legs.
The heat between my thighs only increase the closer his hands get to my sex. I begin to squirm when I feel his hand slip into my pants.
Blushing, I close my eyes and bite my lower lip. A soft moan escapes my lips when he pushes two fingers inside of me. His fingers slowly pump in and out of me, teasing me.
"Tingnan mo ako. Sa akin ka lang tumingin," he suddenly says with a demanding tone.
When I don't, he uses his free hand to grab my chin and force me to make eye contact. I don't think I can take it much longer as I can feel my release near.
He pulls me closer to him, claiming my mouth with a rough kiss. That's when his pace quickens. I'm moaning into his mouth and begging him not to stop. His kisses trail down my neck while his fingers continue to work inside of me. I am about to come when the sound of an alarm fills my ears.
Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep
Jolting from my sleep, I'm panting uncontrollably and remembering where I am. The alarm clock beside my bed blares loudly, notifying me that it's time to get up for work.
Nakakainis.
I don't know what to make of it other than I might just need to get laid. It's been years since I last had sex. So this might just be a sign to let the kitty out of the bag.
Groggily getting out of bed, I rub the crust from my eyes and stretch. Grabbing a t-shirt and jeans from my closet, I set them down on the bed and hop in the shower. Turning on the faucet, I let the water comb through my hair and coat my body with warm water. Once my loofah is covered in soap suds and body wash, I glide it over my body. I find myself thinking about Marcellius and the way he looked at me. It made butterflies form in my stomach and my heart raced.
My fingers make their way to the entrance of my sex. Slipping two fingers inside of me, I try to recreate Marcus' movements from the dream. I put my other hand on the shower wall to steady myself.
"Marcus..." I moan out breathlessly.
Vulgar thoughts of what I wanted him to do to me fill my mind. I call out his name once more only it's much louder this time. Moaning loudly, a wave of pleasure explodes within me. The ache between my thighs has subsided as I let out a satisfied sigh.
After washing myself a second time, I step out of the shower and wrap my towel tightly around my body. My curls are extra kinky and tight. Once I have dried myself off I work the towel into my damp curls.
The light bulb in the freezer begins incessantly flickering on and off. My hands are resting on my hips as I watch the light flicker. There's a faint spark, followed by a crackle right before it burns out and darkens the room. Damn this stupid freezer light. I check the time on my phone. It's 6:30 pm. Once the last customer has finished eating, I thank them for stopping by and flip the open sign to close. The work day was finally over. Having to run a business by yourself is never fun. The only reason my father wasn't here to help me is because he's getting too old to run a cafe.He officially retired about a year ago. I was glad he was finally getting a break, because now he can focus on himself. He puts others before him, spending more time worrying about others and less time on himself. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, but it's drained him over the years. Which is why I refuse to ask for his help with anything. Because knowing my father, he would try and work another ten years and end up burning himself out completely.Marcus is sitting at the counter with the same cup of coffee in his hand.
