THE TRAITOR ELDER

Jimin could not believe his eyes. He knew exactly what was about to happen but he had never anticipated it. All through the long and evil reign of Alpha Jaime, none of the Elders had dared to oppose him but here was the leader of the Elders, opposing Xavier, who was the closest thing to good that they had seen in a long time. Jimin knew that a war between them all was brooding and he knew that he had to step up immediately and calm the situation down.

“Elder Xhang,” Jimin said. “Do not speak to your Alpha in that way. Allow me have a fair hearing and whatever the Elders decides after, so be it. But do not rise against your Alpha.”

“I would not,” Elder Xhang smiled. “If he does the right thing, if you do the right thing by cutting to the chase and confessing to your crimes. We could settle for a lesser sentence and if we are even feeling very happy, we could just banish you instead. Just say it. Accept the fact that you are guilty.”

“Allow me to finish my testimony Elder Xhang,” Jimin
