About a few hours later, while Manuel was still waiting outside the ward, Adrian came in to inform him of something.

"Mr Howells. This is all the information I gathered about the case" he explained.

Manuel took the files immediately. He opened and read them. Adrian also revealed to have caught the man who stabbed Vanessa.

"Manuel!" He heard a familiar feminine voice speak from behind him.

When Marina reached where he stood, she wanted to be all over him. He immediately rebuked her from hugging him.

"Manuel, aren't you over this already?" She asked him.

Manuel glared coldly at her, he didn't even wish to see her an inch closer to him.

"What do you want, Marina?" Manuel asked her, he handed the documents over to Adrian, followed by a gesture for him to excuse them.
