Astrid's POV.

“I am the only one who can help you, and trust me, it's best if you listen to me. If you don't…” He paused as he walked closer to me, his presence oozing nothing but danger and fury.

“I won't promise to keep you alive… you will be just like the others!” He notified me, my fist clenched immediately behind me at the sound of his words.

If there was a way, I was willing to stand on my feet and punch him in the face. I was going to hit him countless times and never stop. I was going to make him see that I wasn't as weak as he had imagined.

“What do you want?” I asked, my eyes glaring at him at this moment.

“What do I want? This question again? What if I tell you that you are all I want, Astrid… would you give yourself to me?” He snarled as his hand reached for my chin, caressing it viciously.

“Get your filthy hands off me, rogue!” I lashed out as I pulled my head out of his grip.

“Shut up, Astrid!” He slapped me across the face, my hair clinging to my face and the sweat drip
