Astrid's POV.

“Am I not old enough for you that you had to chase after the pack's Ex-Beta?” Alpha Dane's words rang out of his lips with so much venom and disgust that they instantly infuriated me.

Here I was thinking that he was about to say something else, to persuade me to kneel before Camilla, but I was wrong. He just wanted to make fun of me and make me look like a fool.

“Speechless now?” His brows creased as a smirk curled up on his lips. There was definitely no way I could keep quiet after what he had said to me.

Right before he could say another word to me, before he could keep breathing on my face, I placed my hand on his chest and forcefully pushed him away from my body.

“Get away from me!” I snapped, my eyes blazing with nothing but fury and rage. I just never expected him to act so silly in front of me.

“Get away from you? And what makes you think that I'd do that? You are mine, remember?” He came closer to where I stood, and with every move being calculated and a sens
