MAGNUS' POV

His question caught me off guard. Why does he want to know about Audrey? I hope for his sake he wasn't getting any idea about Audrey. She was mine!

“Why do you ask?“ I said in a hard tone.

“Nothing.“ He tried to cover his curiosity with nonchalance, but I knew better. “I just want to know why you made her your mistress while you still sneak around with other girls."

“What I do in my free time is none of your business.“ I set him straight. “We have an alliance. As long as I'm not doing anything to jeopardize our alliance, you'll keep away from what's mine. Audrey is none of your business.“
