Lucious POV.

Alex rushed to my side, his hands gripping my shoulders tightly as he implored me. "Lucious, we have to leave," he urged, his voice filled with urgency.

My neck turned slightly to acknowledge his presence, and even though I didn't fully face him, my eyes monitored him from the corner of my vision.

"We've already captured the rogue who killed Alpha Noah. There's no reason to stay here," he continued, his gaze fixed on me as I cradled Noah's lifeless body in my arms.

My heart ached, and as tears flowed, the sky grew even darker.

In that moment, I felt like tearing my clothes apart and screaming at him to stay away from me.

"Lucious, please, listen to me. If we don't leave now, we'll be in grave danger. Please..." His words pleaded for my cooperation, but my grief and anger were still consuming me.
