He smirked, his eyes cold. “Your worst nightmare,” he replied before climbing back into the front seat.

The car sped off again, and I turned my head to look out the rear window. My heart sank when I saw several other black cars following us. There was no escape.

The car finally slowed down, and I felt the sharp jerk as it came to a stop. My heart raced, and I tried to sit up straighter, but my body felt heavy and sore from everything that had happened. The man who had taken me here didn’t say anything before getting out of the car, leaving me alone in the back seat. The door slammed behind him, and the sound echoed in my ears.

I didn’t know what to do. The silence in the car felt so loud, so oppressive. I could still feel the throbbing pain in my neck, and the strange sensation from his lick was still there, but it had faded a little. I just stared out the window, my mind racing with thoughts of what was happening to me.

A few minutes passed, and I heard footsteps approaching. I looked up to see another man walking toward the car. He was tall and built, his posture straight and strong. When he reached the car, he stopped and bowed his head slightly, showing respect.

“Alpha,” he said in a deep voice.

My eyes widened in shock. I blinked and sat up straighter in the seat, trying to process what I had just heard. “Alpha?” I whispered to myself.

The man who had taken me here, the one who had bitten me, was the Alpha of this pack. He was the leader, the most powerful one. That thought sent a wave of fear and confusion through me. My mate—my mate—was the Alpha. How could this be? I had never imagined something like this.

The Alpha walked away without a word, his strong steps echoing in the silence. I watched him go, still trying to understand everything that had just happened. My heart was racing, and I felt dizzy from everything I had experienced.

Before I could take a moment to breathe, the new guy grabbed me roughly. His hands were strong as he pulled me out of the car, and before I could protest, he tossed me over his shoulder like I weighed nothing. I gasped, my face pressing against his back as he carried me away. I didn’t know where we were going, but I felt a cold, tight fear knotting in my stomach.

We walked for what felt like an eternity, the sounds of our footsteps echoing around me. Finally, we stopped. The man dropped me with little care, and I hit the cold, hard floor with a thud. I winced at the impact, but before I could get up, he turned and left without saying a word.

I looked around, realizing I was in some kind of dungeon. The air was damp and freezing, sending a chill straight to my bones. The stone walls seemed to close in around me, making me feel small and helpless. I could barely see in the dark, but I could feel the emptiness of the place, like it had been abandoned for years.

I shivered, hugging my knees to my chest as I sat on the cold stone floor. Silence stretched on, and I couldn’t shake the feeling that something terrible was coming. I didn’t know what to expect, didn’t know what would happen next.

After a long silence, the heavy door creaked open, and the Alpha walked in. His presence filled the dungeon with a cold, oppressive air. I couldn’t hold it in anymore. As soon as he stepped closer, I looked up at him, my voice shaking, but determined.

“Why did you kidnap me from my pack and lock me up?” I asked, my heart pounding in my chest.

He stared down at me, his face unreadable, and then, in a voice that sent chills down my spine, he answered.

“You are from River Moon Pack, and you all deserve to rot.” His words were sharp, cutting through the air like a knife.

I flinched, but I refused to back down. “If you hate me so much, why did you mark me?” I asked, my voice rising in confusion.

His eyes darkened, and he sneered. “It wasn’t me. My wolf marked you, not me. I would never choose a weak she-wolf without a wolf of her own.”

His words felt like daggers to my heart. I wanted to scream, to cry, but I forced myself to stay calm. I couldn’t let him see how much his words hurt. Deep down, I knew they were true. The Moon Goddess had given me two mates, but neither of them wanted me. It felt like punishment for my mother’s sins, for the mistakes she had made.

The Alpha’s cold eyes bore into me as he spoke again. “I’m going to release you from this dungeon, but only if you agree to become my personal maid. Do you understand?”

I was stunned. The offer felt like a slap in the face, but what choice did I have? I couldn’t stay locked in this dungeon forever. I had no home, no pack, no one to turn to.

“I agree,” I said softly, the words leaving my mouth without much thought. I didn’t want to rot here
