Just as I turned to the door to find who had suddenly entered the room, I was met with none other than Stella. Her smirk instantly turned into a frown at the sight of me standing before her.

She was acting as though she was possessed. She shut the door, and before I could speak, Stella walked closer and slapped me hard across the face.

“What the hell do you think you are doing?” I snapped, my eyes bulging as I turned to look at her, my hand cradling my cheek to absorb the sting.

“What am I doing? What does it look like, Elora? It's a warning to you! Leave him alone, Elora… you'll only end up making his life miserable! You won't bring anything but pain and regret to him!” She stated clearly, her every word tugging at my heartstrings.
