Unfortunately, falling to the ground, covered in dirt and rain, I couldn't help but feel alone and lonely. As I attempted to get to my feet, a car came from behind and stopped.

Thinking it was Alpha Killian who must have come all the way to get me back into his arms and apologise to me, the door opened to someone else.

Slowly, he walked closer to where I had fallen. I couldn't see his face, I couldn't tell who he was until he got closer to where I was sitting. I was going to run away just as Kyla, my inner wolf, had urged me to do.

But somehow, I managed to stay on the floor, like I was glued to it, like I was compelled not to move until he got closer.

Just then, he crouched down to my level, a smile curling up on his lips as he stared at me.

“Hello, Elora.”

His voice sounded familiar, and when I squinted my eyes to see him clearly, I realised that it really wasn't Killian; it was…

“Alpha Rohan?” I exclaimed, my eyes widening in shock as I stared into his eyes. If there wa
