Lilith nodded her head but didn't say anything to me as she continued what she was knitting.

"Zelda!" she called, and Zelda hopped over to her. "Talk to her,"

I was stunned. Why would she want Zelda to talk to me when I asked her a question?

"You know I can't convince her," Zelda said as she hurdled herself over a corner.

Lilith nodded. "That's true."

"Lilith, what is wrong?" I felt that was the best thing to do because somehow I felt she wasn't doing well.

"Do I look like I'm a bad person? Even though I am, do you think I will do something that will eventually hurt someone I love?" she sighed as she nodded her head skeptically, like she was trying to calm herself down.

I had no idea what it was all about. "No, you are not... what happened?" I stood up from where I was seated and walked up to her, sitting by her side.
