Silent but aggressively tapping his leg, Glenn couldn't calm his anger, he glared at Bryan who was gulping a bottle of alcohol which he had smuggled from home to camp, since he was a minor and not allowed to have one. Summer stared worried at his uncommon temper, she wondered why his emotions were so heightened, May on the other hand, nervously squezzed her fingers worried about Emily and conflicted in her mind as to her decision for letting Emily go on her own.

"Glenn," summer called silently which made him halt his leg movement. "What's wrong?" She asked with every hint of concern evident in her eyes. Glenn had wanted to talk but then he quickly noticed that Emily wasn't present.

"Where's Emily?" His emotions quickly shifted from anger to worry. May paused hearing him ask about Emily while summer withdrew her gaze from him trying to avoid the question. "Where is she?" Startled, the twins were surprised by his harsh tone, Glenn was not known to be aggressive even in situations like what he had just experienced but something was not right with him and he acted unlike his usual self.

"She stepped out a while ago." Summer butted in to save the awkward silence.

"I am so sorry I let her go." May said seeing the stare she got from summer, she was always soft on Emily, Glenn would have never let her out on her own.

"I can't believe you two...."

"Keep it low Glenn." Summer scolded in between her teeth.

"I can't believe you let her out there on her own," he said in a much lower tone. "It could be dangerous."

"She promised she wouldn't go far."

"When has Emily ever kept to promises like that especially when it has to do with Shawn." He said standing to his feet, Summer and May do same. "I'm going after her."

"I'm coming with you." Summer said almost swallowing his words with her voice before he could finish.

"Same here." Glenn said nothing but gave a silent approval and soon they had left without anyone paying much attention to their absence.

They had been walking for a while but no sign of Emily, the three had gotten really tensed and anxious, they all had different horrible scenerio playing in their head about Emily but none would voice out their concern, they hold tightly to their little torch as they walked through the woods. The crunching sound of dry leafs makes it uncomfortable to walk hastily, the sound it made gave a bad feel as the place was deadly silent, almost at the same time they stopped, frightened by the unclear sound they heard.

"You heard that too?" May asked her heart hopping almost to her throat.

"I'm not sure what it is I heard, did you make anything out of the sound? Glenn was scared out of breath, he was really in for finding Emily but the superhero he may have fantasized being while growing up, his teenage self was nowhere to acheiving it.

"Like a flapping sound of something, I can't ... Can't tell what exactly." Summer provided a bit of answer, no one else had a clue. "Maybe we should go back and ask for help from the others. I'm having a really bad feeling about this.

"Yes you're right, we can't pull this on our own." Glenn had long resigned in his heart and summer had just made it easy.

"Then we need to hurry, I don't want to think anything has happened to Emily. May's voice was shaky and her heart filled with guilt. They turned to head back when the sound they had heard initially came louder suddenly, they reflexed a turn at the direction of the sound and had not gotten enough time to settle on it when a huge bird flew across them, pushing them to the ground. It went straight for Glenn, trailing it's thick claws against Glenn's body, ripping part of his shirt, he began struggling with the bird unable to get a full view of the creature above him, summer and May had tried crawling up to his aid but they had been hit the most when it flew across them, and for some strange reasons they had felt an instant weakness. He finally got a view of the bird but it was too dark to know how it looked exactly, all he could see was the blood red eyes that shined through the dark. It glared horror at him then it shrieked a sound that got them shocked but only was it more of a horror to Glenn, his eyes broadened, threatening to pop out of its socket as the creature withdrew it's head making the length of its peak a little visible, then in a split second it dived into Glen's head, dragging a portion of his hair off his scalp, he screamed at the terrible pain it caused and without haste, the bird flew.

He grabbed the absent part of his hair, his fingers trembling then he let out a loud scream in horror of what he had just experienced. Summer and may had managed to get up, suddenly feeling a surge of strength after the bird had left, it was all so strange, like the presence of the bird had trapped them at a spot and they couldn't do anything about it. They hurried to Glenn's side at once.

"It's alright just keep breathing like that... Yes just like that." May said in an attempt to calm Glenn who was almost out of breath.

"We need to head back to the camp now and get help. Emily could be in danger! Summer yelled.

"I know just calm down, we need to take care of Glenn first, he can't walk like this, he could pass out." May explained to summer who was quite impatient. Their heads turned again terrified In the direction of another sound.

Footsteps from a distance which got louder making sounds of large being.

"Glenn ..." May stressed. Getting the message the three stood up with Glenn and summer behind May. They watched in horror into the dark space unable to move as the huge steps got closer, she held on tightly to them behind her and they were frozen cold in fear and when the steps kept advancing without stop, they shuffled back getting ready for a flight but then the sound ceased and it surprised them, they waited a little but no sound came.

"Who's there?" May asked, her voice shaky and rough. It was silent and she was breaking down in tears now. "I think we need to run." Without hesitation they immediately turned in the opposite direction from the sound and ran faster than their legs could carry, May had sprinted past them, she was a lot faster and again the three halted, Glenn and summer almost bumping into May. May stood, her entire being shaken, summer stared in fright and soon their eyes traced down to May's feet, tears dripping from summers eyes as she saw the huge trap May had stepped on, her leg was clamped and it bled from the punctured area.

"No no no no...." Summer cried as she rushed towards her twin in an effort to set her free. The strong arms of Glenn grabbed her stopping her from moving further.

"Summer no."

"Let me go! She struggled trying hard to free herself from Glenn but he was too strong for her.

"Stop! You could land yourself in another one, summer stop! She stopped as if compelled, she fell gradually to the ground pressing her touch into it. She was the only one left with a torch others had lost theirs in the course of the events unfolding.

"What are we going to do now? She sobbed clutching her chest. Things were happening so fast and they all knew deep down that they had lost there way to the camp. She stood up gradually and began walking slowly towards May who stood still like a statue. Glenn followed immediately minding his every step.

"Careful summer."

"May...." She called silently as she walked towards her.

"Don't talk, just please help ... Help me." May said panting heavily. They obliged and walked silently till they got to her, summer sighed as she fell to her feet and began trying to figure out how to set her free, Glenn joined in as well.

Arrghh! May screams as the trap slized into her flesh, summers hands trembled in fear at the feel of blood that sprinkled on her hand. " Summer stop, it hurts! She cried, the pain was excruciating and her veins were popping out.

"Summer hold on, we need help." Glenn said pleadingly.

"No no... This can't be happening, why isn't anyone coming, they must have heard our screams! She yelled amidst her tears and went back to figuring a way out.

"Summer please." Glenn begged.

"Then go! I'm not leaving May here. I promise you May I'm not going to let anything happen to you, I promise." She said her tears flowing endlessly.

"Wait! Glenn said as he heard something vibrate beneath them, the twins heard it too and May felt it more.

"Get away from me now! May yelled as the vibration increased. "Take her away glenn, now! Before summer could resist Glenn grabbed her dragging her away from May. Summer struggled screaming her voice out as Glenn dragged her.

"I'm sorry, May muttered tears falling freely down her cheek as she felt the ground beneath her weaken. Suddenly the ground sank swallowing her up in it.
