As Xander's mother turned to leave, Fred yelled after her, his voice raw with emotion.

"I'm not going anywhere!" he said, his fists clenched at his sides. "I'm not leaving until he accepts me!" His mother turned back to face him, her eyes filled with disappointment.

"This isn't the way to solve your problems, Fred," she said, her tone soft but firm.

"You can't force someone to accept you. It has to come from within."

Xander's mother gave him one last look, then turned and walked out the door. Fred stood there, alone in the living room, his emotions swirling inside him. He felt angry, hurt, and lost. He didn't know what to do next. He sank down onto the couch, his head in his hands, his mind racing. He didn't know how to make things right. He just knew that he couldn't give up.
