All in return for a fucking job, he wants us to get married this week. I resisted the urge to laugh to his face and tell him the proper place to shove his ego.

He folded his arms over his chest while staring at me with a huge fraction of smirk on his face. He obviously wasn't expecting me to react the way I just did. I shook my head and scoot further in my seat, knowing I'd rather wander about the whole of New York than accept the marriage deal from him.

"Fine then, seems you don't need the job anyways." He shrugged indifferently, focusing on his phone and scrolling through it, an indication that he's done eating and was waiting for me.

"Tell me, is there anything have done? How on earth are you after my life?" I queried, staring pointedly at him as a strand of hair pulls up

I pressed kisses over their foreheads before straightening up. After flickering the side lamp off, I made my way out of their room as I shut the door behind me. Not heading to my room yet, I used the backdoor and sat there at the balcony. My eyes fixated up the sky, I reclined into the seat nearby. Breathless, I dug my foot against the door and watched it as if flung open. His eyes snapped to my direction, as mine trailed up his arm to see him holding unto Kimberly's neck. He looks so furious that I began to wonder how Kimberly had the nerves to come right into his room and challenge him. Jessie's povMy eyes went round a huge fraction when I looked down right on the bed to see nothing but a piece of small clothing. Looking over at the maid for confirmation whether it's her handiwork or not, she looked sideway when she sensed I was about to speak." Why's it that you saw no other thing for me to wear but this? This looks all slutty." I almost screamed my lungs out out while I tried keeping my voice below an octave. Her silence meant something was up somewhere and I don't mind anyways, she must speak up or take her clothes back with her. "Ma'am, I was ordered to." Turning and facing me instantly, she cocked her head but I still wasn't that satisfied. Don't get me wrong, the cloth is actually not that small but hell, without trying it on yet, I know just how much like a kid's own it would be. No doubt, my cleavage is sure to be out to the open which I won't like considering the fact that she's here all of a sudden to pick a dress for me. "By who?" I asked even further

Jessie's povThe moment I raced out of my room, I almost stumbled forward as I hijacked a random car key of Xander's from his driver. "Give me the damn key and instead of standing there aimlessly, I will be grateful if you use that second to open the fucking gate up for me!" I screamed, my voice so much aloof to my shock but then I didn't show and just dashed over to the car. Opening it and stepping inside of it, I flicked the key into the ignition and ignited it. I reversed out of the parking lot immediately the car's engine roared to life. "Opened, ma'am." When I heard an affirmative response from the driver, I bobbed my head up and down in a nod and gladly sped the car out of the mansion and unto the tarred road. Jessie's PovI paced back and forth the building looking as though I was locked in a cave. I was kidnapped- Melanie's handiwork. And not only that, I still can't find Xander and the kids here which only means I was tricked into coming here. Creasing my forehead, I looked around the cave; exhausted. It's been more than six hours now and even though I don't have a wristwatch with me nor a time tracker, it wasn't that hard to see through. Plus, the sky is getting dark and currently, have lost all hope I will ever leave here tonight. I scoffed out loud. Great! How awesome would it be spending the night in here. Note the sarcasm. The cave is so dusty and uncared for. Lots of cobwebs running through the roof, and then what worsened it all- it's as scary as hell. Had I known, I should have stayed home and wait for them to finally come but then, I know my heart won't be able to bare it. Right now, I don't even know if they've gotten home yet or they are still lost as I had thought. I'm wo
