Chapter 3

*Bhairavi Pov*

“Your apparel!” I heard the maid uttering the words entering the cell.

“Place them there.” I mumbled not glancing at her.

“His highness is wanting to present you before the Kingdom at the nightfall. Please wear this apparel.” She pleaded and I stood up after releasing a sigh.

“I will.” I assured her and changed my attire before moving back into the cell.

“Your afternoon meals, Princess.” She returned after a few hours of time.

“This much?” I questioned her with a frown, looking at the huge varieties of food.

“There is a feast before you get presented, Princess. His highness wants it to be eaten by you before anyone else consumes it.” She replied.

I fisted my hands before consuming each of it and lay down on the floor. If he wants to be executed infront of his people, then I can only fulfill his wish without a fail.

“These are the people of Palmar?” I asked the maid when she took me outside the cell towards the front of the people already present with terrified looks.

“Yes! Many people left the Kingdom after his highness took over the throne.” She replied in a whisper.

“Then why are you still here?” I questioned her frowning.

“I do not have any family left. What will I do with running away from here and get myself stabilized in a new place with no hope?” She questioned back sighing.

“I give you my word to go to my Kingdom whenever you wish to.” I mumbled holding her hand.

“I will be here for you, Princess.” She mumbled back before making me stand before the people who have only fear looks but not a single smile on anyone.

“Why are they terrified?” I questioned her frowning.

“They are thinking that he called for them to punish them again for taxes or for something else.” She replied giving me a pity smile.

“He is a monster.” I mumbled glancing around to find any soldier holding a sword to take it from him.

But suddenly I felt myself losing a step with wooziness and the maid gave her hand to make me stand with stable. I shook my head, but the feeling of ground knocked off from my feet is not leaving me.

“My people, you all are summoned here to know some great news.” I heard Ramsey’s voice but I couldn’t watch anything in clear.

Cutting off his words I heard a small battle cry making my head blast more. Maid took me back towards the dungeon when we heard the soldiers fighting a war with someone else in the middle of the stage.

“What… is… happening?” I asked her trying to breath and also trying to feel the sense regarding what is going on around us.

“A war has broken out.” She whispered and we suddenly saw that all the prisoners are getting released from the cells.

“Princess!” I heard the familiar voice and turned to see the man who came here to rescue me yesterday.

“Is it from our Kingdom?” I asked him frowning.

“No Princess! We never cry for a war without a proclamation to the enemy.” He replied and I nodded before letting both of them drag me away from the dungeons too feeling the dizziness embracing me more by passing of each second.

“His highness has been captured.” I heard the maid uttering when we were outside the Kingdom dodging the battle.

“I am not feeling good at all.” I mumbled before collapsing on the floor.

*Unknown Pov*                                                               

“You Wimps! You fought us in a cowardly way without notifying for it. It is no wonder that you all are not under the council.” Ramsey screamed at us.

“If council protects a man like you then we all are glad to be not part of it, Ramsey.” I shouted at him before tying his hands.

“He should not get the effect of the liquid before we start our journey and watch how his Kingdom is no longer present infront of his eyes.” I commanded my followers and they nodded before splashing the water on his face for every minute.

“You fought over me in a wrong way.” He mumbled when the water got splashed.

“No! We fought in your way.” My second in command uttered smirking.

“There are very few number of people in his Kingdom and we even got the prisoners outside and got our men and women.” My third in command said and I nodded looking at our people.

“You all can go to the kingdoms you wish for and my men will take you there.” I said looking at the people and the prisoners who are still with conscious, but will not have that when they start the journey for our men safety.

Then I saw a girl lying on the floor with two people worry for her but I cannot see her face. I smirked looking at the weak woman who got the result of the liquid so soon than everyone.

“You can take that weak woman with you.” I ordered the man and Woman beside that girl.

They both nodded in gratitude before trying to wake her up. I shook my head and saw that all the prisoners who are related to others Kingdoms want to go back and also the people.

“You are in charge to see to their getting on the respected ships for the place they want to leave for.” I ordered my third in command.

“What about the soldiers?” My second in command asked.

“Question them whether they want to be with their family or with their King. If they wish for the king then bind them too to be taken to our place.” I replied before looking at the people choosing the Kingdoms and many are wanting for the other side of the world far away from here.

“The Ship is ready for our sail.” I heard the captain.

“We will leave after all the people are sent away.” I said before walking towards the horses brought from the Kingdom which are in bad shape and need some help.

“So, we are taking all these with us?” I heard second in command questioning me.

“They need us and we need them.” I replied and he laughed slapping on my shoulder.

“I never thought this war would be so easy with none of our warrior losing the life.” He mumbled and I nodded.

“His soldiers didn’t fight with all the power they had. It is no wonder that Ramsey took the life of kings in improper way.” I said sighing.

“Will we be going to take the Kingdom under our wing?” He questioned gesturing the large place.

“We do not need this place and let the council have its way. This place is under the council and we do not want anything that relates to council. Now we will just take Ramsey with us and let his fate decided by his highness.” I replied and felt the anticipation of his death which will be soon after returning to our land.

“Someone is trying to release Ramsay.” We suddenly heard a shout from the people who are getting into the ships which will take them to their selected places.

“Who dared to do that?” I uttered before turning my horse towards the crowd.

*Third Person Pov*

“Princess!” The man from Agatha continued to call Bhairavi along with the maid and she finally opened her eyes.

“What is happening?” Bhairavi questioned looking at the people who are being taken into the ships.

“His highness got captured by some people and they are taking him with them. And we can go to your Kingdom as per our wish. That is our ship.” Maid explained before they both walked towards the ship.

While the Princess glanced at the bound Ramsey and then at the ship which will take her to her Kingdom. She decided to take the life of her parents slaughter and she will.

She ran towards the Ramsey taking away the sword from the man who is assisting to see everyone getting in the proper ships without his knowledge and cut the ropes around Ramsay’s hand.

“I know you will save your betrothed, Princess.” Ramsay mumbled smiling at the Princess.

And someone watching her releasing his bounded hands shouted “Someone is trying to release the bounds of Ramsey.”

“I told you that I will be the one who will take your life, Ramsey. I always keep up to my promise.” She said before slashing his throat before he could get the meaning of her words with his open eyes and then pushed it into his heart.

“I took the avenge on you and I am no longer your slave, Ramsey.” She said smirking and took out her sword while he fell on the ground with no life left in him.

Every soldier around her pointed their swords at her irrespective whether they belong to Palmer or not with an aim to bind the woman who took the life of a man, which is a man’s work and someone pointed to save their lives from the woman who seems to be bonkers with the rage they can see on her face.

She continued to take deep breaths controlling her rage after finally taking the life of the person which she intended to do for a long time. She is free now and have no reason to be bound to anyone.

But then she glanced around to see many people who are ready to take her life away or to bind her back.

She gripped the sword in her hand and stared at them back not with a wish to be bound again.

She is not a Salve and she will never become a Slave even if it endangers her life.

The maid and the Agath’s soldier witnessed the whole scene with their eyes in shock as they thought the Princess was following them when they got on the ship. Before they could get down and take her with them, their ship started and they couldn’t do anything but they know that they have to pass the news in her Kingdom.
