I stabbed the lettuce with my fork and gritted my teeth in annoyance. Amanda and Emma were staring at me in confusion while they gazed at my hand that was tightly gripping my fork with my knuckles turning white. I was beyond pissed at Nicholas for declining to back out from the plan but, at the same time, I was even more pissed at myself for letting this happen. Nicholas wouldn’t have got his hopes up in getting Lindsey to fall for him if I hadn’t convinced him that he would be the only temptation she couldn’t resist. I also should’ve thought this through before making a decision that I would probably regret soon. I guess I never learned from my mistakes.

I looked back and forth between Lindsey and barbie in confusion. This wasn’t a coincidence that they were both in the same area right now, looking at each other as if they were communicating with their mind. Just seeing barbie plaster a smug face, made me grit my teeth and clench my jaw. And the more I thought about how they’d plan to set me up but practically failing because I aimed at Lindsey, it was making me feel more infuriated. I wasn’t a fool to not realize this trap Lindsey hauled me in, and they should be thankful that it didn’t work so I wouldn’t come after them.
I glanced at Danny beside me and saw a smile already plastered on his face. My eyes glimmered as the emotions started to surge in. All the pain heaved in my chest for the past few days had finally been lifted out and I could finally breathe with relief.I looked back at Liam as he stood a few feet away from me. With yearning and anticipation, I ran towards him and he just stood dumbfounded with his feet glued to the ground. Though he was completely caught off-guard, when I laced my arms around his neck, he pulled me in a tight hug. His warmth was
Liam pulled up in front of our house as I stared distantly to through the windshield. My hands were tightly gripping my pleated skirt while I tried to steady my breathing as silence consumed us. No one talked. He didn’t want to budge. So I flicked my eyes beside me and towards him, tugging a faint smile before sighing.“Once I step out of this car, everything that happened between us will remain a memory,” I started, breaking the silence inside his car.
“Tomorrow is the homecoming,” Amanda enthusiastically said, clapping her hands together as Emma and I both stared at her. “I can’t wait to wear the dress they’d sponsored me.”“You’re so excited about wearing the dress while I’m looking forward to the homecoming after-party. It will be so fun.” Emma nudged me to my side as I shifted away from her.
“What?!” I exclaimed, feeling the heat starting to surge in.Danny ran his hand through his disheveled hair as I started to frown at him.“It just slipped out of my tongue while we were having a conversation about you. I mean&mdas
After Emma exhausted us from decorating their entire house for the party, we went to our houses to change our outfits and to prepare for the night. In this case, I needed to ask my parents for permission to go out tonight though I highly doubt they would let me. But if they didn’t, escape was my only option.I swung the door of the foyer open and stepped inside the house. I returned home late again, or maybe just later than our usual school dismissal time. Mom and Dad usually got home between nine or ten and, as soon as they arrived, they either w
I went back to my room right after what Dad had told me in the dining area. My heart that was once thumping from nervousness was now replaced by anger towards Dad. I couldn’t stand them and I was so tired of complying that I tried to continuously lash out from their grasp because they never treated me like a daughter. They treated their child as a retirement plan and it was such a shame. I detested it when they verbally abuse me to feed my sister’s ego so she could downgrade me more. They should be grateful that I was able to put up with so much that I hadn’t thought of retaliating. I respected them though I knew they were crossing the line and I was having a hard time understanding their expectations towards me. I was a human being after all and I wasn’t perfect.
We arrived at Emma’s house that was already jam-packed with a lot of people. The stench of alcohol immediately made its way to my nose that made me grimace. The loud music resounding through the place sent thuds in my chest as my eyes lingered around to see everyone, seemingly tipsy. Emma’s furniture was pushed to the side so there were enough rooms for people to squeeze in. They were all dancing, others were already making out in the corner, some were playing beer pong, and most of them were in the backyard, dancing in the beat of the music.
A/NThis is a bonus chapter for “Queen Of Ace” and probably the last part of this novel. Since I wanted to write a chapter related to Christmas, I came up with an idea to write a Christmas-themed chapter as the very ending. This is still related on Queen Of Ace and the characters are still the same.
The second semester had already started and all of the students were now crowding the hallway. We had taken a long break from all the crazy things that happened during the first semester. The dramas diminished, people left, new students entered the school, and hopefully, new beginning. This was the start of something new, something ecstatic and something that would fill everyone with anticipation. I was ready for this day like I was before, and this time, we came back to not start drama, but to fix all the things that should be resolved before we’d taken a break.
We all headed in our lockers to shower and change our own clothes to wash off the sweats in our body. As we left the field, almost everyone greeted me congratulations and I felt overwhelmed by the attention that I was getting. Right after Mason asked me to be his girlfriend, I didn’t feel like hesitating, not because of the pressure the attention I was getting dawned on me, but the fact that I wanted Mason to be mine. I took back what I said before that I wouldn’t look at him the same way as I looked at Liam. I took back what I said that we would just remain friends. I took back what I said at the moment when I was still in a relationship with someone else. I took back everything and it was relieving. I got to express my feeling and I didn’t hold back with having the new beginning that I had been longing. I knew Mason was the one for
It was already the most anticipated day of all the students in Kingsley: the football rematch. We had been training for this the whole day and I couldn’t wait to perform our chants in front of everyone. We were inside of the girl’s locker room, changing to our cheerleader outfit, applying makeup on our face, and tied a ribbon around our high ponytail. Black and white had been the theme color of the Panthers and we decided to change our outfit and gone a little creative so we would stand out. We added some flitters to our uniform and tassels around our skirts to make a beautiful effect when we would perform our cheers. I also told everyone to put a touch of glitter in their makeup so we would be dazzling throughout the game.
My body still hurt from what happened between me and Mason yesterday in their house. And going to school with a body ache, the Aspirin doing nothing to calm the pain in my body, I had almost regretted the temporary bliss I felt that day. I could hardly concentrate during the exam and my body wouldn’t cooperate during the training. I could barely do a proper stunt and Coach Adriana felt a little worried that I might fail to do the stunt tomorrow when the football game started. We all had been anticipating the special day and I assured Coach Adriana that I would be executing the stunt flawlessly when the football game started. We’d finished all the examinations needed and we proceeded to our training. We had a few dry runs of our new chants and choreography, but through those runs, we barely had mistakes which was a good sign. This just meant

The cheer leaders threw their majorette batons as the others held their pompoms high in the air. They all moved around to the final position as I did my stunt in front once they all froze. I some cartwheels and backflip in the end as what I always did in our routine as Coach Adriana blew her whistle to indicate the end of the training. Once the whistle rang in our ears, we all took a deep breath and dispersed through the field. Plopping myself on the ground, I brought my knees in front of my chest and placed my elbows on my knees. My sweats trickled down to both my forehead and temples as the heat gushed through my body from releasing too much energy. I looked down on the ground, letting the sweat fall on the green grass below me. And when the crisp wind swept against my skin, the heat started to diminish.
We spent half of the day training and the rest of my time was spent with half of the periods after the first ones that I missed. They announced the examination and some of the subjects would be starting tomorrow. They also told us that we would be finishing the examinations before the football game started because they wanted us to enjoy the weekends without worrying about the result of our grades.I was heading
The only reason I knew why Sir Richards would get suspended was the fact that I Lindsey had given him a blowjob last time which was out of character. But I highly doubt the school would know about it unless either Caley and I spoke up. We were the only ones who knew about it and we didn’t really plan on sharing it in the whole school. I just used this information to threaten Lindsey so she would stop getting in my way.“So does that mean we wouldn’t be having Psychology class?” Emma asked with a smile on her face.
