“No.” I shook my head. “It’s just a one-night thing. I don’t have anything to do with him,” I declined and I felt so awkward that all attention was now drawn at me.
I could feel Mason’s confused gaze towards me because he thought that Liam and I were still together.
I was sitting at one table with Amanda, Emma, Mason, and Miguel as I searched for Nicholas who hadn’t arrived yet. Well, he was still one of us but since the day I confronted him to stop flirting with Lindsey, he suddenly became aloof and he kept his distance from us. He didn’t even sit next to me during our first class together which I found odd. Nevertheless, I shouldn’t really care about him at all. He was just probably trying to piss me off even more.“Guys, let’s take a picture. We all look so gorgeous tonight,”
What was Maria doing here? I thought she wouldn’t be attending the homecoming because it was boring and alcohols weren’t allowed inside? This didn’t make sense. Where the hell was she?I started to roam my eyes around me as we all searched for Maria. And when no one seemed to show up and silence consumed the entire place, I eyed Emma beside me with furrowed brows.Maybe the list was wrong and Maria wasn’t supposed to be there. Because there weren’t clearly any signs of her and we were all looking stupid for searc
A/N: I would advise you to listen to Ed Sheeran’s song called “Give Me Love” while reading this.~*~We were sitting at our table for a while now. Amanda was using her phone while Mason and Miguel talked about sports, th
“Please, don’t tell Daniel anything,” Lindsey pleaded, shaking her head. The fear in her eyes was like the one I’d seen her have when I confronted her about Sir Richards. She was quite hilarious and pathetic. It made it more amusing because she acted tough all the time and she kept accusing me that I was cheating on Liam with his own brother. Now that I’d proven her hypocrisy, she would probably stop coming for me now. Having daily banters with her was quite exhausting and this occurrence should teach her a lesson.
The homecoming was over and we felt enthusiastic for the afterparty in the club. We got our dresses changed, our makeup retouched, got rid of our heels and wore sneakers instead, and tied our hairs up to suit our outfits. After our long preparations which made the guys so impatient, Emma’s limo dropped us by the club and left once we reached our destination. We were now standing beside the road that was packed with cars as their horns dominated the vicinity because of the unwanted traffic. Standing on the pathway where random people were walking by and nearly bumping on us, we moved closer to the brick wall of the club and waited for the line to hopefully be shortened. Apparently, there were people lined up outside the club and I guess it would be jam-packed inside once we entered the place.
Emma filled the shot glass with the Cuervo, handing it towards me as I took it and drank the whole thing. It created a lining down my throat and the burning sensation left in my mouth was unbearable. Grabbing a lime from the plate, I squeezed it in my throat to ease the bitter taste. The heat in my stomach was caused by the tequila. It tasted amazing, but just a few shots could leave me feeling dizzy. I felt lightheaded, and my vision was swirling around as the loud music dominated our area. Emma was now dancing on her seat as Danny laughed at her. Tyler was throwing me glances, and he would gaze at me to hopefully catch me staring at him. Mason was squeezing himself to me as I continuously scooted over towards Amanda.
I was in my deep slumber, only to get startled by the piercing noise of my phone. Fluttering my eyes open and turning my head to my side, the ringtone rang in my ears, waking up my senses as I lifted my head to peer at the screen. As soon as I lifted my heavy head, it began to throb, as I gritted my teeth from the pain. I shut my eyes close again and winced in torment once my hangover dawned on me. Alongside the effect of the alcohol from last night was the continuous buzzing of my phone. So I reached for it on my nightstand as an unknown number flashed on the screen, making my eyes completely flew open. Who would call me early in the morning?
Tyler pulled up in the parking lot beside a fancy restaurant after the long ride that took almost forever. We filled the ride with casual conversations and I was starting to ease up in his company as my annoyance towards him slightly subsided. We talked mostly about schools and talked about our high school life. He talked to me about random facts about their school and just literally anything he could think of. I didn’t mind his blabber and found it quite cute because he was a talkative guy despite his stoic demeanor. During the ride, I was able to know him more and found out that he wasn’t really the guy Emma was making him seem like. He seemed rather laid-back and outgoing, someone you could hang around with for casual talk to occupy your time.
A/NThis is a bonus chapter for “Queen Of Ace” and probably the last part of this novel. Since I wanted to write a chapter related to Christmas, I came up with an idea to write a Christmas-themed chapter as the very ending. This is still related on Queen Of Ace and the characters are still the same.
The second semester had already started and all of the students were now crowding the hallway. We had taken a long break from all the crazy things that happened during the first semester. The dramas diminished, people left, new students entered the school, and hopefully, new beginning. This was the start of something new, something ecstatic and something that would fill everyone with anticipation. I was ready for this day like I was before, and this time, we came back to not start drama, but to fix all the things that should be resolved before we’d taken a break.
We all headed in our lockers to shower and change our own clothes to wash off the sweats in our body. As we left the field, almost everyone greeted me congratulations and I felt overwhelmed by the attention that I was getting. Right after Mason asked me to be his girlfriend, I didn’t feel like hesitating, not because of the pressure the attention I was getting dawned on me, but the fact that I wanted Mason to be mine. I took back what I said before that I wouldn’t look at him the same way as I looked at Liam. I took back what I said that we would just remain friends. I took back what I said at the moment when I was still in a relationship with someone else. I took back everything and it was relieving. I got to express my feeling and I didn’t hold back with having the new beginning that I had been longing. I knew Mason was the one for
It was already the most anticipated day of all the students in Kingsley: the football rematch. We had been training for this the whole day and I couldn’t wait to perform our chants in front of everyone. We were inside of the girl’s locker room, changing to our cheerleader outfit, applying makeup on our face, and tied a ribbon around our high ponytail. Black and white had been the theme color of the Panthers and we decided to change our outfit and gone a little creative so we would stand out. We added some flitters to our uniform and tassels around our skirts to make a beautiful effect when we would perform our cheers. I also told everyone to put a touch of glitter in their makeup so we would be dazzling throughout the game.
My body still hurt from what happened between me and Mason yesterday in their house. And going to school with a body ache, the Aspirin doing nothing to calm the pain in my body, I had almost regretted the temporary bliss I felt that day. I could hardly concentrate during the exam and my body wouldn’t cooperate during the training. I could barely do a proper stunt and Coach Adriana felt a little worried that I might fail to do the stunt tomorrow when the football game started. We all had been anticipating the special day and I assured Coach Adriana that I would be executing the stunt flawlessly when the football game started. We’d finished all the examinations needed and we proceeded to our training. We had a few dry runs of our new chants and choreography, but through those runs, we barely had mistakes which was a good sign. This just meant
Warning: This chapter contains an explicit sex scene.~*~I had anticipated Danny’s retaliation once he saw Nicholas and that shouldn’t be a surprise. But the fact that it was the first time that I’d seen Danny beyond ma
The cheer leaders threw their majorette batons as the others held their pompoms high in the air. They all moved around to the final position as I did my stunt in front once they all froze. I some cartwheels and backflip in the end as what I always did in our routine as Coach Adriana blew her whistle to indicate the end of the training. Once the whistle rang in our ears, we all took a deep breath and dispersed through the field. Plopping myself on the ground, I brought my knees in front of my chest and placed my elbows on my knees. My sweats trickled down to both my forehead and temples as the heat gushed through my body from releasing too much energy. I looked down on the ground, letting the sweat fall on the green grass below me. And when the crisp wind swept against my skin, the heat started to diminish.
We spent half of the day training and the rest of my time was spent with half of the periods after the first ones that I missed. They announced the examination and some of the subjects would be starting tomorrow. They also told us that we would be finishing the examinations before the football game started because they wanted us to enjoy the weekends without worrying about the result of our grades.I was heading
The only reason I knew why Sir Richards would get suspended was the fact that I Lindsey had given him a blowjob last time which was out of character. But I highly doubt the school would know about it unless either Caley and I spoke up. We were the only ones who knew about it and we didn’t really plan on sharing it in the whole school. I just used this information to threaten Lindsey so she would stop getting in my way.“So does that mean we wouldn’t be having Psychology class?” Emma asked with a smile on her face.
