Chapter 27.4 - Protect Her

"I'm not kidding. They are descended from the Haltz family. Even though they are small children they are very capable of protecting you."

"NO!" reject Pine outright. "Haltz or whoever they are, I refuse! They're just kids! I don't want to!"

"Pine..." Kevin said, trying to calm the woman down.

"What he said is true, we are the children of the main family of the Haltz Clan, and are still children. However, our strength is on par with adult vampires," Iki said in response.

"Shut up..." Pine said annoyed.

Pine also approached Kevin and glared at the vampire, "Vin! They are still small children!" and she grew even angrier. "They're from Haltz, you say? Doesn't that mean they're here for a reason? Haltz couldn't have just sent his clan members here, let alone the main family members! Are they prisoners!?"
