Chapter 27.1 - Protect Her
Pine walked quickly to her room, while behind her Kevin was trying to catch up. But Pine had no intention of stopping at all, she didn't even answer the many calls he was given.
"PINE!" Kevin stopped her then grabbed her hand, making Pine couldn't help but stop and turn around. "Listen to what I have to say first."
"What should I listen to? Should I hear about you trying to kill yourself? Ahh… or should I say that you are hurting yourself since you're an immortal who can't die?"
"Pine!" shouts Kevin feeling a little hurt.
Pine was silent, she felt her words had gone too far. However, she couldn't stop it. Hearing the man she loved trying to hurt himself weighed heavily on her.
"I know you're angry. But sorry, this is me," explained Kevin.
Pine sighed, "Vin, I know if this puts you in a depression. I didn't even think that your mother was that kind of person. I'm not going to ask how your life story is because I can already imagine it.

However, Pine just smiled as she grabbed the knife that was on the table. "You're here as the representative of the Antro Kingdom, aren't you?
