91 Accepting The Bond

Intoxicated and engulfed by his scent, I let it pull me in as we kissed. Liam held on tightly, releasing a hunger he had held for so long, and so did I. I melted away in his arms, ready and hopeful he would seal the deal. Onyx wanted it, and I did, too.

We finally broke the kiss, and Liam stared into my eyes, searching.

Was he thinking I would reject him? Was that why he was nervous?

"For you," He said, handing me the single rose, and I collected it from him, mesmerised by him, but something in his eyes said he wasn't surprised. His control and restraint said he might have had a lot of practice.

"Did you know?" I asked him, and he made me sit on the comfortable mat he provided.

He looked at me and sighed. Then, he searched my eyes.

"I have known ever since you walked into the dining room in Mountain," he said, and I gasped.

My heart was racing, and questions were rising. He quickly held my mind and looked at me.

I think somehow Liam should be made aware that he is also Jo's first in everything too. Somewhere in an earlier chapter, it was mentioned that Liam thought Jo was more experienced in this
