Sebastian stood thoughtfully on the top floor after ending the call, before finally heading down to the bedroom to find that Sabrina was already awake.

She took advantage of waking up early in the morning and took time to go through a more comprehensive skin-care routine. The mark on her cheek from Linda's assault had faded and was barely noticeable. She applied a thin layer of the ointment Ruth had given her, and was surprised as to how effective the scentless ointment was. She then went ahead and applied a small amount of foundation and her face brightened up in an instant. She stepped out of the bathroom and saw Sebastian in his bathrobes. Though the makeup on her face was so faint that it was hardly even there, Sebastian immediately noticed the difference. This went to show how plain she looked most of the tim
