“You what?” Kiara said, backing up a bit. He couldn’t possibly be serious, right? “You heard me right…I love you.” Luca repeated himself, his gaze moving to her lips once again. He wanted to kiss her again, test the waters. See what they could become and where they’d land.

Kiara’s heart rate soared, as her skin became flushed with a light shade of red. His hand moved to her waist, while the other cupped her face gently, lovingly. “Do you mean it?” She breathed, looking up at Luca.
