Kiara looked around the living room, confused as to what was happening. Her parents seldom fought, so this was an odd sight to see. The whole area had rubbish strung across it, a vase had been smashed against the wall, which left a dent, and scattered into bits on the floor and her parents were fuming.

It was as if they didn’t even notice her entry because they just kept on arguing. “No! No! You don’t get to tell me that bullshit, Damian. What the hell’s wrong with you?” Maria put her hand on her forehead, feeling queasy. The whole argument was making her feel sick to her stomach.

Damian scoffed, his fists clenched, “Do you think I wanted to fire him? Do you?!” He paced around the room, “I was presented with evidence, valid evidence and you’re telling me that I’m in the wrong? You must be crazy.” He vehemently said, stepping closer to her.
