Psychopath Love Series: Dashiel's Obsession

I feel a nostalgic feeling of being here again. Watching the moon while kissing the sea is such a magnificent feeling, and the cold yet fresh air is so refreshing to breathe. All of this is making me want to experience it again and again. How much I love nature.

"Beautiful, isn't it?" he asked, and I nodded silently.

Yes, it is so beautiful. I handed him my helmet after I took it off, and he accepted it.

It's my second time here, yet I feel like it's my first. The feeling of being so in love with nature.

It's our second visit here, and I hope this time won't end up like the first one. I hope tonight won't end up like the last time we were here.

"Let's go?" he asked, and I nodded.

He held my hand, and I didn't expect to feel anything when our hands touched.

He was about to walk, but I stopped him and asked, "What's that?" while pointing to the thing he was carrying.

"This?" he asked, pointing to the thing I was referring to.

"A blanket."

I nodded. Ahh... okay. He held my hand again before we started walking towards the flat area.

When we got close to the flat area, he laid out the blanket he was carrying.

I immediately sat down, and he sat beside me.

Later on, I felt his hand on my head, guiding me to lean on his shoulder.

After that, a long silence filled the space between us as if we were both just feeling each other's presence. We were both looking up at the dark sky.

It was dark because there were no stars shining tonight, and I guessed it would rain soon or maybe later.

Grandma said that when there are no stars in the sky, there is a high chance that it will rain. And I have proven that to be true several times.

"Sorry." Those words that came out of him shattered the silence between us.

"Hmm?"

"I'm sorry," he said again, and that's why I sat down properly. I looked at him, "I'm sorry for the thing that I'd done that last time," he said apologetically.

Which one are you asking for forgiveness for? Is it when you almost assaulted me or when you broke my heart repeatedly by seeing you kiss someone else?

I wanted to ask him those words, but I remained quiet and let him finish what he wanted to say.

"I'm so sorry if I almost r-ape you," he stuttered. Eventually, he faced me, "I swear, I didn't mean it." He sighed before lowering his head again.

"It was just, I was carried away. I was carried away—" Before he could finish what he wanted to say, I interrupted him by patting his shoulders and saying,

"Shhh.. it's okay, I already forgive you," I sweetly said while clinging into him.

That part is not a part of my plan anymore. Forgiving him is no longer part of my plan because I have already forgiven him a long time ago. Honestly, after a few days of not seeing each other, I already forgave him. I was just really angry at him during those times because I saw him kissing someone else. Yes, I was jealous! Darnit!

"I'm sorry if I also said something like that to you, I was just carried away," I added while still clinging to him.

And that part is the part of my plan. The plan to be clingy to him so that I could carry out my plan.

My new plan is to make him fall in love with me since he caught me seducing him, and my plan failed. And I'm sure that if I continue with my plan, he will find out my next step. So what I'll do is make him fall in love with me. And I will start it from being clingy to him.

"I'm sorry too," he said as he snorted. Eventually, he stood up from his seat before moving behind me. And from there, he hugged me.

"Sorry accepted," I said while leaning on his chest. I closed my eyes as I felt his lips touch my head.

"Let's forget about that horrible past then?" he asked as he kissed my hair again.

It's easy to forgive, but it's not easy to forget.

I wanted to tell him that, but when I remembered that I needed to win him over, I just nodded and enjoyed being embraced by him.

A very long silence passed between us, as if we were just listening to the beating of our hearts. And honestly, I really want this. I really want this to be forever.

"I want to be in his arms and have him hug me. I only want this. In fact, it seems like I can live a long life as long as we're like this.

"What were you doing at the bar earlier, honey?" he suddenly asked, breaking the silence.

I swallowed before thinking of an excuse. I can't tell him the truth, right? Can't say that I went there to seduce him, can I? That would be too shameful.

"Umm, I just went somewhere," I replied, trying to make it sound like a question. "Oh yeah, I remember! I went somewhere." I added, sounding like a fool.

He chuckled behind me. I adjusted my sitting position as I felt his chest rise and fall due to his laughter.

"Really?" he laughed, as if confirming if what I said was true or not. I nodded.

If the end of the world comes tomorrow, I'm sure I won't be allowed to enter heaven. I'm such a liar! I'm so stupid.

"Is that it?" he asked again, and I nodded again.

"May I know her name, then?"

I swallowed several times. Why are there so many questions? I feel like I'm in a Q&A portion.

"Umm..." I thought, "Tiburcia? Yes, her name is Tiburcia!"

If he laughed earlier, he laughed harder now. I just sighed. What is wrong with this guy? Do I look like I'm trying to make him laugh?

"You know what, honey," he started to laugh, "You're really not good at lying, aren't you?"
