I released an annoyed sigh in front of the man in front of me to hide my blushing face.

I heard him chuckle slightly at my actions, which only irritated me more. His laughter was annoying, like he was teasing or mocking me. I wasn't sure, but it seemed like that was his tone.

Instead of stooping to his foolishness, I ignored him because I knew that in the end, I would be the only one to lose out. Obviously, I would be the only one who would get annoyed in the end. So instead of confronting him, I just bent down to pick up the scattered papers on the floor.
