When I got out of the shower, I expected Brielle to be done with her call, but I didn’t see her around.

Had she gone out already? No, it couldn’t be. She was only wearing a robe which meant she didn’t go far.

Frowning, I put on the first set of clothes I found and stepped out of the room. I heard my phone ring and I sighed, going back in to answer the call.

“Hello?”

“Dobryy den', boss.” I heard Andrei speak. [Good day, boss.]

“What is it?” I questioned impatiently. He had told me he would handle emergencies if there were any.

“Ty uzhe svyazalsya s bratom?” My frown deepened. I had talked about reaching out to him but why was he bothered? [Have you reached out to your brother yet?]

“Why?”

I didn’t even know if I should consider Landon my brother anymore. The man was obviously out for blood. Although he had poor planning and lacked leadership skills, he was still identified as an enemy.

“He keeps calling me, saying he wants to meet with you.”
