I stared at Asher's face intently. I caressed his cheeks and then smiled while trying to think about how to respond correctly.

After a while, I let out a deep breath and then held Alisa.

I made them seat together.

I looked at them intently then decided to speak.

"I'm sorry for making things complicated for both of you," I said and I can hear my voice breaking while saying those words.
