Rosie raised an eyebrow at me. “Are you alright?”

I nodded. “Yeah, yeah...I think so...” I answered, putting my glass of wine down and placing a hand over my stomach. It was weird...it wasn’t like the nausea was painful or anything, but it still bothered me.

Rosie frowned.

“What’s wrong, dear?” Gia asked, approaching us. She took a seat in front of me and placed her hands on my shoulders. “Did you get tired of standing up there for too long? Or maybe your nerves finally got the best of you?”

“No,” I massaged my temples. “I don’t know why I suddenly felt tired.”

Gia and Rosie exchanged worried glances, and Gia turned her attention back to me.

Dominic noticed me and stopped talking with his colleagues. “What’s wrong?” he asked, concerned.

I shook my head. “Nothing. I’m fine.”

“You don’t look good. A little pale, yes,” he glanced at Gia. “Maybe you should go inside, get some sleep, and—”
