Chapter 5 Why tie me up with a tie?

Shu Ni had already stood up and couldn't wait to ask, "Grandma Yan... went back?"

"Yeah." Yan Junci quickly returned to his usual indifference, brushed past her shoulder and walked towards the attic.

Just when Shu Ni was unsure whether to go or stay, his deep voice came from behind, "Come here."

Yan Junci picked up a picture album and said nonchalantly, "I'm sorry, I didn't think it through last night."

Following his gaze, Shu Ni saw the mark on his wrist.

She subconsciously asked, "How did you do that?"

Yan Junci calmly turned the page and replied, "It's tied with a tie."

Some restricted images flashed through her mind, and her ears gradually became hotter, and even her voice trembled unconsciously, "Why did you tie me up with a tie?"

This time he stopped turning the pages and did not answer.

Shu Ni regretted asking the question. Just imagining herself going crazy after getting drunk made her unable to raise her head in front of Yan Junci.

Yan Junci seemed too lazy to recall the chaos of last night. He only said, "Hanyu was not kind about the party. I apologize to you on his behalf."

She was deliberately vague and did not make it clear whether it was compensation for Yan Hanyu's cold treatment of her, or compensation for Yan Junci taking away her first kiss.

Perhaps he was annoyed by her, Yan Junci responded, "Tell me about it."

Shu Ni was overjoyed and pulled out photos from her phone album, "Look!"

The woman in the photo was the latest clue her sister had sent her not long ago.

This lady named Fang Mei was once a maid in the Shu family. She was secretly photographed by reporters because of her ambiguous behavior with her father. She disappeared soon after. After multiple investigations including private detectives, it was discovered that she now lives in Los Angeles.

This was a romantic scandal that her father had not dealt with thoroughly. If it had not been for a deliberate search, it would never have been discovered.

Shu Ni asked her friends who were studying abroad there to inquire, but she has not received any definite news so far.

Thinking about it this way, Fang Mei must have been controlled by her father.

Yan Junci listened quietly. He agreed with Shu Ni's guess, "Your father knows where you are. It is indeed difficult for you to find her."

The implication is that Fang Mei is probably still under the control of the Shu family, and as long as she makes any move, Fang Mei will be transferred.

Shu Ni looked at him eagerly.

After a moment, Yan Junci said, "I'm also going to fly to the United States soon."

He paused, then told her, "I can take you with me."
