Jessamine couldn't figure out how Thaddeus had known all of this and had even managed to deal with those people one by one.

"How have you been? Has finding a job been going smoothly?" Jessamine asked Yvonne.

Yvonne's eyes dimmed. "It went quite smoothly. After I left my job, I moved to Hajera. My child had some health issues, and since my close friend was here, she could help me look after my child too.

"The main reason was that the specialists at the hospital here were very knowledgeable about my child's condition. Therefore, we didn't have to travel back and forth for medical appointments."

They had talked for so long that it had already gotten dark outside. The office area outside the room was quiet, and all the employees had left for the day.

After finishing her drink, Yvonne stood up and threw the disposable paper cup into the trash can.

Yvonne continued, "Sorry for taking up so much of your time. I had gone to the hospital this afternoon, which made me late for the interview.
