Thaddeus heard the screams and strode closer to the bathroom.

Clara was staring in horror at the giant teddy bear on the bed. Thaddeus asked her to look after Amy, but she went missing under her care once more.

Thaddeus frowned when he saw the empty bed.

Clara knew that she was in trouble and was about to cry. Ever since Amy disappeared all night that day, Thaddeus had repeatedly ordered Clara to make sure Amy never left her home.

She couldn't go outside, and no one was allowed inside their home.

Clara was in tears as she said seriously, "Mr. Holt, Ms. Quilton was still here in the middle of the night. She said she had a stomach ache and wanted me to get her some water. How could she have gone missing in that amount of time?

"Mr. Holt, I really didn't let her leave. I've been so cautious even since you gave me that reminder. I slept very lightly, but I never heard the door open at all."

Things were still fine when Clara never mentioned what happened last time, but now that sh
