Sometime later, Jessamine hired two assistants, and Jaricles Design Studio officially opened its doors.

On opening day, Xander sent a lot of baskets of flowers to congratulate her. Jessamine wanted to keep a low profile and start her own business. Therefore, he respected her decision and refrained from doing anything despite being anxious to help her.

He was also looking forward to witnessing Jessamine's capabilities for himself.

Jessamine was sorting the bookshelf in her office while her assistants, Carly Summers and Judith Callaway, were decorating the office area with the flower baskets, all of which were sent by Xander. Carly arranged the flowers neatly and looked at the last oversized flower basket in a daze.

Usually, flower baskets were more than three feet high, but the last one was at least six feet high. It wasn't a basket at this point, but a barrel. It didn't look like Xander bought them from a florist. He seemed to have had this batch of flowers specially customized. I
