Chapter 398

Jordan parked in the Healthstone Hospital's parking lot. He had accelerated the car so much that the wheels were almost smoking.

Jordan got out of the car and opened the door for Thaddeus. The latter had been silent the entire journey, his eyes fixed on his blood-stained hands. Jordan had tried to wipe it clean but to no avail.

"Mr. Holt, we've arrived at the hospital," he said. "I found out that the ambulance had brought Mrs. Holt here. Let's get out of the car."

Thaddeus immediately returned to his senses. He looked up at his assistant and asked slowly, "Mr. Rhodes, how much blood do you think someone needs to lose before they die?"

Jordan's heart dropped, and he quickly comforted him, "Please don't say that, Mr. Holt. If Mrs. Holt were dead, the people wouldn't have brought her here. She must be waiting for you in the ward. Let's go inside and have a look."
