Everything was so unfamiliar that she couldn't believe this was the house she had grown up in for over a decade. Jessamine's throat tightened. She frantically searched around.

She finally found Elizabeth's box in the storage room on the ground floor, along with some of her childhood books. She began sorting through the contents, trembling uncontrollably.

Benji watched as she sobbed, heartbroken, unable to leave. He stood by her side quietly. "Jessie, this house is yours now. Don't rush, take your time."

Jessamine's hands couldn't help but tremble. All the valuables left by Elizabeth had been taken away, leaving only the unimportant things behind.
