Chapter 81 Is this fate, or destiny?

Danielle's POV

I had to spend a lot of time taking care of both Clara and Gabriel. The kids seem to have no interest in Clara at all. It's been a while and they still haven't spoken to her.

Every once in a while, Clara would sit down and wonder if she was such a monster. She thinks I have poisoned the kids' thoughts and that was why they were avoiding her but I told her nothing like that happened.

The doorbell rang. "I'm coming," I shouted from the kitchen and rinsed my hands. I ran to check the door and I opened it to my greatest surprise.

"Isabelle?"

"You didn't have to say that much, can I come in?" She asked.

I looked at her again and looked Inside my house. "What do you want?" It doesn't make any sense. Seeing Isabelle in my house was the last thing I was expecting.

Or was she here to confirm if I was with Clara? She must have been told that I came for her or maybe she came for something else. Whatever it was, it can never be good.

I stepped outside and closed the door
