Danielle's POV

I took one last breath in the bath and went out with a short towel wrapped around my chest. I met him on the bed, his eyes fixed on his phone.

He didn't notice me yet. This is the time for second thoughts. Do I really want to do this? I fought the thought. I am getting old now.

I don't want to think about anything else apart from what was in front of me. I took a few steps forward and he finally noticed me.

I took off the towel I wrapped around my head and placed it on the handle of a brown chair that accompanied a big table.

He dropped his phone and gazed at me for a long time. I could feel his gaze through every part of my body. Goosebumps found their way out and there was no cold.

"You look absolutely amazing." I looked away to cover my embarrassed cheeks. "Thank you."

He tapped the bed, beaconing me to come sit by him. I walked slowly and sat down beside him on the bed.
